shoutout to my draft of a book i was working on and stopped working on for months and accidently deleted it a few months ago that i suddenly got the motivation to start working on today from almost scratch since all i have is my memory and little snippits i wrote in my notes and my notebook.

rip to the old version. i was never going to finish you since there were to many plot holes but i will keep your memory in this new version and fill the holes and attempt to finish the story.

rip to the old characters, you really didn't have much depth but i will make sure you have meaning and are remembered at midnight when i remember how i accidentally killed you. i will forever remember the section where i kept lines i should have deleted but saved them for later.

RELEASE ME/ WATCH ME theories and hcs PART 8

cant believe i made 8 parts also im starting to get used to the dark blue but it looks to close to my natural hair so bit upset at that.

also i just figured out how to do the keep reading thing

SPOILERS AHEAD MAYBE

rosa used to have curly hair before her father betrayed the reestablishment but throughtout the years her hair got straighter and she lost her curls.

after the end of release me i think rosa will go with sebastion ( james better stop her ) but before she does she explains everything and when aaron asks about her childhood ( since the guy needs to know everything) but she repressed and blocked out her early childhood memmorys they have to watch old videos and thats when they see how she used to be and how tramutized she is now.

i hc that sometimes if the reestablishment familys were supportive of the cause and were good and loyal they would get old stuff like records or movies and stuff like that.

when rosa and he who shouldnt be names ( sebastion ) were little he had a camcorder or something like that and he would film his "adventures" with rosa so when they went hiking or climbed trees he would bring that and record

hc that sebastion had an abusive or negligent dad since his mother is mentioned in the book like three times and his dad is only mentioned when rosa says that his dad is a general.

need to see a moment in escape me where after rosa explaines everything they come up with a plan and she turns away from everyone and is washing her hands or something to distract herself and aaron feels from her just radiating with hope after years of forcing herself to feel anything but hope.

young rosa gives off the song American Pie ( theres a video of her dancing to it in her room on sebastions camera )

james going on a hunt to find that record as well as a bunch of other songs that reminds him of rosa and getting a record for her.

i dont know if i already said this but rosa/james with glasses. either or both. both of them could definetly pull off glasses.

im watching twisters (2024) while writing this and james and rosa are like kate and tyler in a au

rosa ( after she sees james secret tattoo of course) gets a tattoo and maybe its like roses or something around that scar on her arm.

i watched Up yesterday and i KNOW that kenji would bawl watching that. i did not realize how terrifying kevin lowkey is but then saw her chillin with russel so.

also nemo kind of gives rosa vibes to me. might be because i really like nemo so.

once things are normal i know that clara would be the cutest but also annoying little sister ( rosa wouldnt mind but would pretend to be annoyed )

rosajames watching a horror movie and both not being scared cuz they both have faced acutal horrors but still using it as a excuse to burry their faces into eachother.

james would wear nail polish and so would kenji. and they would both look good.

more of rosa being weirded out at the normal stuff at the new republic. rosa being like: why is there coffee shops? you can make your own at home. why so many shops? why is everything a safety hazard? this makes no logical sense .

once again dont know if i said this before but rosajames are night owls and have movie nights and sleepovers and they are eachothers best friend that also kiss. need rosajames kiss and communication. they also have insomnia but they nap together.

guess who wants their hair purple again after one day of blue since it tuned out to be a cyanish green but i got a hair mask to make it blue.

adam and rosa bonding over having to take care of siblings at a young age.

ooo i know i mentioned rosa thrifting for james but what if she was a diy girlie and she like sewed up his jeans for him and added embroidery.

james would in return take her on a shopping spree and she finds her style

clara going to school. clara loving books and bonds with Julliette and talks books. clara having kenji give her piggy back rides when she cant walk. clara laughing at james. clara idolizing naz. rosa crying because clara finally gets to have a real family and rosa crying because she has a family too.

clara wondering why roman ( adams kid i think) wont eat certain foods when she wants to try any food.

clara being amazed at all the food and wondering if its real or made in a lab and being jaw dropped at knowing that the apple shes holding came from a real tree and not from the hands of scientists.

rosa seeing her eat said apple and being reminded of when she and james first met.

james collects records. he has a messy room and throws his clothes on the floor which aaron despices. james cleaning up when rosa comes over hiding a old t shirt behind his back while she explores.

rosa seeing james frightened and comforting him like she used to comfort her sister.

also i NEED to see more about Clara cuz what do you mean she and rosa comunnicated probably hundreds of miles apart while rosa was LITERALLY dying.

they both have superpowers and my theory is that the power is why Clara is so sick. it is literally killing her slowly. also i will be sobbing in escape me if we get clara angst which i also need.

Clara gets a happy ending and has a tea party with james and rosa ( also aaron because how else is he supposed to prepare for a kid)

after they winand kill klaus i think like everyone who has chips in their brains will go into a small coma cuz like after years of having a chip in your mind and it suddenly shuts off theres got to be effects to that.

so when clara is in a coma ( trust she will awaken ) rosa makes flower crowns for her and talks to her about evertthing and reads to her and when clara awakes she is the bestest of friends with james and kenji and aaron ( she gets attached to them all )

the end and also i thought of star wars while writing this and idk how but a star wars au would be cool but it HAS to have a happily ever after because i will sob.

rosa not being to handle her own emotions finding out that aaron can feel others

rosa respects aaron while also finding him scary. like that man put her through more physiological damage then the reestablishment who mostly focused on physical damage. like mutual respect

also strange irony how the reestablishment focued more on physical damage and the new republic did physcological damage how the tables have turned

i finished the watch me audiobook yesterday and i know have new info about sebastion

sebastion and rosas moms were friends and they were both trained since kids. they were close friends until rosa got sent to the pit and over the years he sold pieces of his mind to the reestablishment for promotions basically. rosa says that she sometimes feels sorry for him before remembering that he chose this.

i have a feeling we are gonna see jealous james in Escape me but i am also really interested in the charachter dynamic between rosa and sebastion.

i think before he started selling his mind away that they really were close friends and that they genuinely cared for eachother since they both knew they were to be married some day anyways. rosa obiously doesnt feel the same anymore but sebastion ( in a sick twisted way ) still does.

i also want to see more james. i've been doing more hcs of rosa since i feel like the books are really focused on her and we have and also dont have a lot of info about her. but i also love james too.

james is also traumatized so i would also like to see him crash out in Escape me

james kinda gives hot wheel vibes ( my friend collects hot wheels and they give off the same energy )

speaking of cars... in release me rosa says something like theres so many cars when she is sneaking away so i wonder if she knows how to drive. i get she probably does and knows how cars work due to her training sims but imagine if theres a chase scene and she just DRIFTS like she is fast and furiousing

rosa said something about her nanny putting ribions in her hair or maybe im just imagining it but she is like really good at hairstyles so if she ever babysits for adams kids i just KNOW that she is going to make (fake) laser robots and be putting ribbions in hair

both james and rosa have had trouble sleeping ( and as we saw in release me rosa basically only sleeps around james ) so after everything happens they nap together when they arent working and i can see the two of them staying up after a nap that went to long and just TALKING since they havent really talked with all the stuff happening

rosa and james playing 20 questions because neither of them know where to begin ( they open up about their issues and both are angry for eachother. cue hurt/comfort trope)

everyone actually loves rosa so much ( kenji, naz, brendan, juliette, the citizens adore her, everyone )

rosa's neighbors on the Ark gossip about her and they have theorys about her. some people think she's an alien, others a ghost, but the kids ( cuz theres kids in the pit ) think that she is part star or something

also castle is confirmed in the next book and i don't remember much about him but depending on the timeline maybe he and rosa met on the Ark when rosa was little? potential theory but idk.

i need to see aaron and rosa 1v1. not actual fight but i know they both would clock the other so hard cuz they are two sides of the same coin while simultaneously being completely different. she would absolutely be calling him a hypocrite that's worse then her.

also i've been thinking about the Vial and i am confuzled because rosa said something like the Vial kills the superpower part of the dna by releasing fumes or something and also is a super powerful boom.

but since people have already drank the vial and went boom does that mean that the fumes are in the air and can affect everyone ( note that the super powers everyone has is basically the only advantage they have agaisnt the reestablishment. ) so how is that going to play out.

i was listening to the audio book of watch me ( free on pintrest btw) and while Rosa was in the cradle she talked about a memory of her mom scolding her for knocking on her dads office door or something and that if she wanted her fathers attention she had to make him proud so like all the other charachters she has severe daddy issues ( also after some explaining and understanding she sees aaron as a father figure)

juliete LOVES Rosa like so so so much and maybe gets mad at aaron for the prison stuff

as i said about rosa having daddy issues i think as a kid she would constantly be over achieving at every thing. straight A student, knows latin or something, piano and/or violinist. Maybe she even became "friends" with he who shall not be named (sebastion) to win her father's approval.

need to see rosa daddy issues angst in escape me cuz me got very little of that in release me

i CONSTANTLY imagine rosa spending hours at a thrift store trying to replace james vintage clothes she ruined. Naz helps her find the store and shops for chairs that don't match her table. james sobs when she gives them to him while turning into a red tomato.

when warnette go on date nights they ( naz, kenji, james, maybe rosa if aaron trusts her) all babysit

rosa and james are spooners. they constantly need to be wrapped around one another like koalas. spelled koalas right first try :)

if theres a yay we saved the world yippe party again warner BETTER pick out the cutest outfit for rosa ( and juliette of course ) along with a outfit for their little boy/girl/whatever gender it is.

sidenote: i don't usually listen to audio books but im an hour in to the watch me one ( i read watch me and release me before) and i am really enjoying it and i am noticing things that i didn't while reading like how while in the cradle rosa describes feeling disgust the first time she kissed sebastion for the first time and before that i thought they were just engaged but didn't kiss so imagine what else he COULD have done that we don't know. rosa is so tramatized and sebastion must be behaded with a rusty shovel.

Rosabelle was a daddy's girl and was close with her father before... everything happened. she also ice skated or did ballet

as a kid rosa and (sorry) sebastion were "friends" which means her dad was friends with his dad since they both has high positions which means they hung out while they did buisness and rosa maybe had the tinyest itty bittyest crush when they first met but got over it after she saw how sebastion is and sebastion being snobby trying to impress rosa because he has a massive crush on her ( more like wanting her possesivly and really like president snow with lucy gray )

james is a yapper ( kenji confirmed this ) and i mean he YAPS like to himself, to others, and of course rosa about absolutley everything. He also sings but its like medium not awful but not great either. rosa loves hearing him so no problem

at the costco date that WILL eventually happen, we learn that they both have like crazy sweet tooth's ( also hope for another apple callback )

kenji, juliette, and rosa eventually have movie nights together. james is mad but happy his girlfriend is good with his family after everything.

clara and adams kids ( forgot their names oops ) have a playdate. also i remember adams son likes robots so since rosa is like a engineer they bond over that.

also hope for a james and clara tea party or something of the sort

clara and rosa watching cartoons and eating chocolate ( my little pony, wall-e, beauty and the beast, etc

james is a musical lover. thinking descendants, the greatest showman, high school musical. mama mia

i can see him singing did i mention to rosa or a tale as old as time while dancing

after kenzera happens james is constantly thowing it in their face that he knew they were destined to be together which causes them to embarrass him by telling stories of him to rosa

in escape me i really want to see rosa just go nuts and go off on everyone ( except james) and finally tell them that she was trying to save their lives and that she actually apologised to some of them( naz, the one soldier, maybe james, told kenji she didnt want to kill him )

i want to see her just really female rage in this book after all she's been through.

also would love to see naz and her on a shopping trip to get everything for THEIR apartment ( i need to see them as actual roomates ) and i can see rosa picking out her own clothes for the first time in years and finding her own style ( perhaps with the help of fashinista james ) as well as picking out clothes for clara that she might like.

trying to watch every claymation/ stopmotion film possible and i am obsessed with the art in it. its so beautiful and yet disturbing from all of the movies i've watched. CORALINE, PARANORMAN, AND BOXTROLLS MY LOVES.

not to mention the time and effort went into all of these, it's so beautiful. the dedication is so inspiring and i can't describe my love for these films. also THE VIBES ALONE IM SCREAMING
