Another animal I can’t stand not being in Fallout. Granted we haven’t really been shown any areas where bison would be, but I just love them too much not to come up with ways to fit them into fallout. Heavily inspired by the Bison Latifrons, a species of bison that lived during the ice age and likely went extinct 20k years ago. Biggest ruminants ever apparently.

Anyway, I call ‘em Broadhead because they got a broad fuckin head and I dislike naming everything rad-[creature] lol. I imagine them to have large, longhorn-esque horns (not quite as upward curved as the latifrons), a shorter tuft of hair on the tail, and significantly taller in height featured by a steep hump. Realistically bison in post-nuclear fallout would be quite scarred from fighting amongst other bison, as well as not so natural predators like deathclaws, Yao-Guai, packs of wild dogs and wolves, coyotes, and I gotta imagine whatever the radiation turned cougars into.

Thought I’d post my headcanons one what horses would look like in fallout, because I cannot tolerate no horses (how am I supposed to be a cowboy in these kinds of conditions 😭😭😭). Anyway, if even one person is interested in a transcription of the text, I’d be happy to provide it. I’m also cooking up some milder headcanons on Brahmin and also what I think Bison would look like in fallout.
