Jason tried not to pay attention to the rumors swirling around Vollmond. Being a lone wolf, he knew that rumors were often not the entire truth, nor were they very kind, particularly to outsiders. But with his secondary job at the Gentleman’s Howl, there was very little he could do not to overhear. Drunk mouths were loud.
“It’s not a problem at all.” Jason replied with a grin. “C’mon. Let’s go get the paperwork hammered out, and I’ll get you outta here with the smallest downpayment I can get away with. It’ll be a couple hours for me to flush the engine and put on the new tires, if you wanna come back later to pick it up. Or you’re welcome to wait. Up to you.”

He nodded and followed the other man back into the shop. “I can probably get some errands done in that time and be back to pick the car up. Oh you have no idea how much this is helping me out. I mean it’s not a big town but with a pup it can be really difficult to get around and groceries and...”
The blonde paused and laughed a little bit. “Sorry, sorry I’m rambling.” He ducked his head and slid one of the papers over to himself so he could start reading through some of the print. “It’ll be good to not to walk home at night too, I think Wyatt near had a heart attack when he found out I walked home after closing shifts.”
