Look, the sentiment of this post is great, but you’re forgetting that if your a person whose posts go viral even on a semi regular basis, there’s a big likelihood that some asshole (or, more likely, several groups of assholes) will take something you said the wrong way or even just violently disagree with you. They may then harass you, stalk you across other social media platforms when you block them, or create sock puppets to harass you here.

“You can completely control you Tumblr experience!” is a deceptively attractive statement. You can control a lot of it and especially what’s on your dash, but there’s still a nasty dogpiling & cancel culture on here and if you’re been affected by it, you’ll understand it’s not fully under you control to avoid it unless you hit delete.
