Do I look at people in various communities an think, "🤔 wow they are doing too much" yeah of course, most people do it and dont realize it from their own little perspective bubbles. I know quite alot of people who went to her highschool at the same time as her so I can confirm EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM has said she was an insufferable bitch. So funny story actually. One of my friends was hooking up with this girl, they were friends with benefits. She needed a date for some work party so he agreed to go with her. Turns out her dad owns like 3 dental practices and she worked as the business manager for one of them.
Anyway my friend had some not so nice teeth and during dinner the father of his fwb was like “you work where you work, you sleep with him and his teeth look like that? Get him an appointment.”and then bounced. So his fwb made him an appointment at the practice she managed and my friend ended up needing like 3k worth of dental work and his friend with benefits just gave it to him for free.
So that is the story of how my friend not only got sex, but dental out of the friends with benefits deal.
And the moral of the story is doctors/dentists are scam artists that price gouge and over pay themselves. Because what do you mean a dr. Office can give up 3k worth of "care" for a fuck buddy free? But they cant lower the price to make their services affordable out of pocket?

The cops very clearly planted evidence on him because they had to make an arrest because all eyes were on them and whoever actually did the deed was making them look stupid.
Why would the real killer hero have kept the weapon on his person and traveled two states over while carrying it and a manifesto in his bag, conveniently turning the crime into a federal matter? The same guy whose bag they found in a park, filled with monopoly money? Why did the police turn off their bodycams, take Luigi's stuff, drive a block away, turn their bodycams back on, go back into the restaurant, and then arrest him?
From the moment of his arrest, even left-of-center media has been presuming his guilt without examining anything (e.g. calling him "the killer" instead of "alleged" or "accused") and then when I say he didn't do it, the nearest person chimes in with some quip that tells me they think he did do it but should go free anyway. Don't get me wrong, I would have the same attitude if he had done it. But he didn't. It makes me feel like the only sane person in the world, even among my staunchly leftist friends.

Tumblr is a failing social media site that has escaped death multiple times already; they do not have the social cachet to defy state regulatory agencies. We know they won't say no to Apple, either--the porn ban on tumblr was in response to Apple's crackdown on explicit content.
If you did not know this was happening, you were behind the curve. That is fine. You're caught up now. The next step is to link up with people in your country who are working to preserve privacy, to roll back these laws where they exist, and to prevent their passage where they do not. In the US the organization you want is Stop KOSA--in the EU you can start with Fight Chat Control.
Repealing ID verification and blocking chat control will help everyone, especially the most vulnerable. We can push this back, but we cannot get it done through the Feedback form. We have to get it done at the legislative level and lock it down so it cannot be forced upon us. I see lots of anger out there. Good. Put it to use.

Work, friendships, relationships, etc. — all of them will be improved if you just show up and pay attention.
Show up: follow through on commitments, be present rather than distracted, keep your word
Pay attention: take notes, listen when people talk, do what you need to do to remember tasks you’ve been given, READ YOUR DAMN EMAILS
And before tumblr tumblrs, I also have undiagnosed ADHD and probably autism and “just” showing up and paying attention often takes a bit of extra effort for me. But I’m also the most recent addition to my team at work and also somehow the only one who is both on top of my shit and still only giving like 60%-70%.
I do have one warning though: once you start showing up and paying attention, you will be frustrated by how many people aren’t doing that. But hey, your boss will love you and you might even get a raise out of it.
And remember consistency is key if they dont show up and pay attention for you then you are perfectly reasonable when you drop their asses as friends. And when it comes to bosses this is a good metric to use to determine if its a good fit for you to stay there. Does your boss stick to their word? do they pay attention when you need something? Do they take advice or criticism instead of just doling it out? These are all key indicators of a good work relationship. You dont need to waste effort or attention on people who dont return it. So feel free to quiet quit at shit jobs and just collect your check, and stop talking to people who only ever bring you problems without being there for you. It doesnt make you a bad person. Its all about using your availability efficiently for the people that put into your life

• Forces everyone (not just kids) to upload a government ID or submit to a facial recognition scan to create a social media account or post online, even on educational sites like Wikipedia
• Force parents to send even more sensitive information to Big Tech companies to “verify” custody in order for a minor to create an account (think: sending a birth certificate to Mark Zuckerberg to let your teen create an account)
• Allow unsupportive parents to lock queer and trans youth off the Internet, restricting access to life-saving community and information with zero recourse
• Expand the Trump admin’s surveillance capabilities, making it easier for them to persecute people organizing protests, monitoring ICE, and criticizing the administration
• Cost Massachusetts tax payers enormously, as the legislation is clearly unconstitutional and would face legal challenges.
• Specifically harm undocumented folks who use social media to warn communities about ICE activity and raise money for family members
• Fine smaller and non-profit tech platforms like Mastodon and Bluesky out of business, further expanding the monopolies of Big Tech platforms
It is one of many of the worst pieces of digital surveillance legislation right now in the states.

The only way to combat this is to STOP participating in ANY online spaces that require I.D. verification. These places are likely very important to alot of people and, in some cases, its your livelihood. Even still, I urge you to pivot and find something else at least temporarily. If we all refuse to use an internet with I.D. verification the loss of revenue alone will get these politicians rescinding and back tracking. I REPEAT DO NOT PARTICIPATE. They are going to be forcing through laws like this all over because their end goal is a cyber stalking police state. But they cant track you if you dont participate, and they lose money for every person that stops participating. Deactivate your account and if there is any opportunity to review, leave feedback, DO IT. Thoroughly emphasize that you're leaving because of this gross invasion of privacy. We can do this if we all stick together and do our part.
