                                He made a show of acting offended,                                 hands up, facial expressions                                 humorously overreacting. She had                                 caught him and the best he could do                                 about it was make a joke out of the                                 whole thing. A well needed break from                                 the reality burning around them.

But in small moments like this, Stiles Stilinski scares the shit out of me. Like you can totally tell that he’s willing to commit murder right about now. His lips are freaking curling into a snarl because he’s so pissed and his fucking eyes are DEAD. He’s just so done with people pushing him and his friends around. They’ve already lost so much and he’ll be damned if he lets them lose more.

#lookin a bit too much like the nogitsune bruh#stiles stilinski#i mean personally i’ve always found stiles’ anger to be frightening#even as early as s1 he’s had sudden outbursts of dark anger that twist his facial features#at one point in s2 he even frightens lydia when he explodes about her not caring about herself#i think its scarier now because he’s seen first hand from the nogitsune what anger can do#this isn’t the only moment this season that anger has given him a void!stiles kind of appearence#and i honestly just do wonder what happened in 3b and how much control stiles had before he was er ‘reborn’#whether it was the nogitsune the nemeton or stiles’ personal shadow that had the most influence in his decisions#we know stiles has a connection to the nemeton in ways that scott doesnt and allison didnt#it appeared in his dreams several times throughout 3b tempting him with what i can only call power#we also know that their sacrifice in 3a did not go well—if it had they would have been dead for a few seconds—they were under for 16 hours#i think stiles coming back with the nogitsune attached to his sprirt made him dependent on it#and when stiles and the nogitsune split stiles died or was already dead at that point and he lost part of whatever was keeping him alive#stiles even tells scott after that that he can’t get warm#after void!stiles is destroyed the new stiles collapses like he’s lost a limb but opens his eyes again-alive#i think part of the current stiles died then because we see from that this season that stiles still does not look well and questions if he’s#even ‘better’#part of him is still void in other words#it would explain why lydia screamed because of him several times in 3b#and why his name was written by lydia in 4 on a list of already dead people#one thing i find interesting is the lack of nemeton being brought up this season despite it being such a prominent factor in 3b#maybe that has yet to come—because i do think everything connects back to that damn tree
