These are taken from my regression journal! These are just things that I enjoy while regressed, it doesn't mean that you have to enjoy them too!

🪐 Self-care Activities For Upset/Overwhelmed Littles 🪐

- Grab a piece of paper and pens and go crazy! Draw out aaaall of those big feelings. You can throw it away or rip it apart afterwards, if that helps.

- Talk to your stuffie! If you don't feel like talking, remember that you can always communicate telepathically to your stuffies. They will understand!

- Grab some toys/stuffies and play out a scene that made you upset or a situation that you are nervous for. What would your stuffies do? How would they make themselves feel better? What would you say to them to make them feel better?

- If you need a distraction, put on your favourite show/movie or listen to some songs to help you calm down. Maybe have a playlist ready if you ever need it again!

- If there is one feeling/thought that is consistently making you worry and getting in your way, make a feelings box/jar. You can write down that feeling, fold it up and put it in the box. Once it's inside, the feeling is safely tucked away and can't worry you anymore! And you can keep using the box/jar in the future.

- Take a bath, if you like. Gather any bath bombs/salts and bath toys you may have. Splash, play, rest. You could listen to an audiobook/podcast or play some music. When I'm all done and pull out the plug, what I like to do is lay down, close my eyes and imagine that as the water is slowly going down, so are aaany bad thoughts and feelings that I don't need and I always feel a bit lighter afterwards. You could try it too, if you think it will help!

How to set up a temporary agere space in your room!

So, you have an hour or more of free time? You want to use that time to regress? That’s awesome! Here are some tips for regressing alone in your room, especially if you have to stay in there.

🍼 Remember stations at elementary school? For your activities, try doing something like that. Even if it’s just different things in different places on the floor.

🍼 Make sure any devices that won’t be plugged in while you’re using them are fully charged! You don’t wanna be playing games or watching cartoons and then your device dies.

🍼 For the lighting, try something a little softer. If you have multiple lamps/lights, try putting all of them on except the main light. But make sure if you’re doing something like coloring, make sure there is light that will cast where you want to work so you can see what you’re doing.

🍼 Make sure your sippy/bottle/cup is full, and try to possibly get water bottles filled with the same liquid to refill it, as many of them are pretty small and can’t hold much.

🍼 Try making a pile of soft things! Blankets, pillows, the works. I like to set mine up on a bean bag. It’s super comfy, especially if you get sleepy and need to take an emergency nap. 

🍼 Get snackies! Put them in containers inside a lunchbox for that kindergarten feel. If you need ideas, check out my post about agere snacks!

🍼 Try to set everything up when you’re big! When you’re smol, the tiniest task can be a huge mountain to climb over. So save yourself the stress and set up the area before you begin regressing. (if you regress voluntarily)

🍼 If you have stuffies that wear different clothes throughout the day, get them all changed and ready to play with you for smol time!

How to help put yourself in little space when you don’t have a cg/cg is busy:

-Take a shower or a bath and use baby wash and baby lotion

-Put on your favorite pjs or onesie

-Grab some snackies and a sippy cup/bottle/favorite drink

-Watch your favorite little space show or cartoon

-Snuggle up in a bunch of blankets with your stuffies

-Browse tumblr or social media to help you find little space ideas or cute pictures to help you into that headspace

-play your favorite little space game

-read a children’s book or color

🎁 Holiday Activities 🎁

Hey babies! It’s that time of year, lots of festive holidays and wintery vibes! In the spirit of the festivities I compiled a post of fun holiday activities that you can do! These activities can be done on your own or with a friend/cg!

Christmas colouring books! Find yourself a few christmas or holiday themed colouring books and get to colouring! If you can’t find any you can always print a few pages off the internet!

Baking and decorating cookies! Baking cookies is one of my favourite holiday activities! You can try making them from scratch of you can make some from premade cookie dough! Which ever you choose to do, be sure to be extra careful with the oven and any sharp objects!

Writing letters to Santa! If you celebrate Christmas you can write a letter to Santa! Be sure to decorate it all nice and pretty!

Baking and building gingerbread houses! You can bake it from scratch or buy a kit at the store, whichever you choose it’s sure to be lots of fun! Just don’t eat too much candy while decorating !

Watching holiday movies! Pick some of your favourite holiday movies and have a movie marathon! 

Colour and decorate a Christmas tree! Draw and colour yourself a pretty chirstmas tree! You can draw on decorations or you can use beads and glitter and other craft supplies!

Making hot coca! Hot coca is a wonderful winter drink, you can brew some up in a coffee machine or you can make some from a powder! Make sure to add plenty of yummy marshmallows!

Playing in the snow! If you live somewhere that has snow it can be fun to go out and play! Making snowmen, snowangels, having a snowball fight, building a fort, the sky is the limit with how much fun you can have! Make sure to go inside whenever you start to get too cold though!

Wrapping presents! You don’t have to be good at it to have fun, wrapping presents is a great way to get in the holiday spirit!

Drive around to see lights and decorations! Lots of houses put up beautiful christmas lights and decorations, try driving around to look for some pretty decorations!

♪ what’s in my agere bag?♪

well first, what is an agere bag??

it’s basically a bag or backpack full of your babie things! you could take this with you, (like to a zoo, park, or a play date!) or just use it to store or hide your things at home if you’re not out as a regressor to your parent(s)/guardian(s)!

here are some ✨ideas✨ for what to put in yours if you’re going somewhere, as well as what i currently have in mine! ✿

1) something yummy! pack a juice box or sippy/bottle with a lid (so it doesn’t spill!) n maybe a sandwich container or baggie with a snack! (goldfish n the gerber puffs or yogurt melts are my personal favorite!!)

2) something entertaining! bring along a fuzzy friend or even a small toy if you have one! they’re good to have if you wanna fidget with something, or just need something to hold! coloring books, journals, video games, or doodle pads work great too!

3) a comfort item! a comfort item can be different for everyone! for me, my paci n certain stuffies bring me lots of comfort! so i always make sure to bring at least one of those things!

4) napkins/first aid/toiletries! i don’t know about you guys, but i can sometimes tend to be messy, especially when i’m small! ^^; having a small pocket pack of tissues, wet wipes, or a few napkins can come in handy in those times! and if you’re clumsy like me, then it might be a good idea to have bandaids as well! as for regressors with a menstrual cycle, you could bring along pads/tampons/etc. for those days!

now for what i have inside my personal agere bag! :

1) paci and paci clip!

2) bottle/ sippy!

3) a bag or container of snacks (usually pocky, goldfish, or cereal like fruit loops :D)

4) portable pack of tissues, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, and paci wipes!

5) bandaids and disinfectant wipes, n chap-stick!

6) a stuffie! (usually my BAB lamb, Buttercup!)

7) a toy! (usually a calico critter, mlp figure, or a fidget toy!)

8) my nintendo switch or 3DS and charger!

9) crayons/pencils and a journal!

10) a story book!

these are just the things i like to take if i’m going somewhere!! but, i hope this guide was helpful!! n reminder that you do not need the things listed! this is just for ideas n inspiration! <3 have a lovely rest of ur day/night!! <33

Christmas With Your Regressor

🎄 Go look at Christmas lights. You can either drive around to look at the decorations people have put on their houses or go to a festive Christmas lights park.

🎁 Make snowflakes out of colored paper and add some glitter, then string those up around your room!

🎄 Bake cookies - there are a lot of recipes on Pinterest. Then, once the cookies are baked, decorate them all with fun colored icing.

🎁 Have your regressor write a letter to Santa and leave it somewhere special Santa will find it - maybe make a mailbox for them. Then, use that list and get them what you can off of that list and write some presents as from Santa and other presents from you!

🎄 Watch Christmas movies and read them Christmas stories at night. Or, make a Christmas story with them and decorate it! Most of the materials you’d need are cheap at a craft store.

🎁 Decorate their dolls and toys for Christmas with them. If they have a doll house, get/make Christmas decorations for it!

🎄 Make hot cocoa (with extra marshmallows and milk of course) and take long winter walks - with them properly bundled up of course!

🎁 Get Christmas lights and hang them up EVERYWHERE!

🎄 Make some garland out of fun stuff - there’s lots of ideas on Pinterest.

🎁 Make Christmas themed bath bombs and soaps with them - don’t forget the glitter!

Ways to calm a little down!

1. “Shhh caregivers here I got you”

2. Rock us gently while giving us kisses

3. Give us our comfort item (most of the time its our favorite stuffie)

4. Paci’s (it gives us something to focus on)

5. Blanky burritos (wrap us up in our favorite blanky)

6. hold our hands or hold us with our head on your shoulder !!

7. “I think cuddles could fix this”

8. Ice cream or a cookie

9. “Tell caregiver what’s wrong hunny”

10. Offer us a nap (sometimes we’re just cranky cuz we are sleepy)

11. Juice in a bottle or sippy (keep us hydrated cuz crying can wear us out)

12. Put on our favorite cartoon

13. Tell us a story

14. “Its ok baby caregiver knows just what to do”

15. Wipe away our tears and talk in a soft + soothing voice (even a lullaby because a caregivers voice in general is a comfort)
