Hello! Thank you for visiting this page.

I'm @novacorpseart, and this blog is for my upcoming project- 'Kill Me If You Can'.

For a while now, I've been inspired by countless indie creators, who have brought their stories and characters to life despite the difficulties of independent animation. That's what I want to do.

I've spent years developing my own original characters, their story, and the world they live in. I want to share them with the world- but I need support. My ideas are still developing and I'm still working on everything I need to start off my project. It'll be a while before anything big happens, but I thought that it'd be better to start early and gain supporters.

My idea: 'Kill Me If You Can' was a band that reached fame a little too quickly. Still learning the ropes, the band must cope with the inevitable struggles they will face...

The show will be a 2D animated drama/mystery/comedy and have an age rating of teens and up (as it will contain some adult themes).

There are too many shows that water down "diversity" to just white, cis queer men. We need disabled people, we need people of colour, we need women, we need trans/GNC/intersex people, we need plus-sized people, we need immigrants, we need neurodivergent and mentally ill people, and most importantly, we need intersectionality.

No more forced, half-arsed representation!

When someone calls my character designs peak but they don't know that...

- The reason Charli has a scar over her eye is because I couldn't draw eyes evenly and one eye was always slightly different so I used the scar as an excuse

- Blake used to have a weird bob

- Dale's hair gets slightly more ginger every time I draw him (in his first design it was dark brown-red)

- The Kill Me If You Can members are just off-brand Gorillaz

- I created Leo after I was bored on picrew decided it would be fun to turn the asexual flag into a person; I then decided that I really liked him and just made him into an oc

- Charli originally had angel fang piercings but drawing the lower part always annoyed me so I turned them into angel bites

- Dale used to smile so much... What have U done to him?

Kill Me If You Can is celebrating pride month by reading fanfictions their fans have written about them. They all secretly hope that the fics are 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂. Apart from Dale, who knows what the fans are capable of

The main four characters, the members of Kill Me If You Can, are actually loosely based on entertainment industry archetypes that I have seen.

- Charli is the kind of musician who seems to be involved in a new scandal every week. Lost in who she really is, she surrounds herself with the "gifts" of fame– alcohol, drugs, sex. Fans excuse her problematic ways, and critics harass her for her mistakes.

- Nicki, despite her fame, still maintains her genuineness and humility. But her kindness forces fans to question her true intentions– she seems to deserve hate the least, yet she recieves the most. The pressure to please everyone is her greatest enemy.

- Dale became a musician to share music, not to become famous. He's the kind of lyricist who puts his demons into a song, but will never confront them, trying (and failing) to remain hidden from the public eye and the stress of fame.

- Blake is "the idiot", "the face", "the carefree one"- the kind that forced himself into fame in fear of being forgotten. He's so much more than what he shows, but the messy side doesn't sell. Scars don't make people laugh.
