you know how Jacob said “I’m gonna fight for you, until your heart stops beating.” and how the whole series he’s literally trying to get her to see everything she will be missing, all the people who care about her, how important and loved she is. because she wants to die, constantly provokes death and thinks she’s unworthy of living at all. he tries so hard to put her back together, to mend her. he does everything he can, pulling her out of the ocean when she’s drowning, giving her cpr, making sure she doesn’t freeze, spending quality time with her, trying to remind her all the great qualities she has and how life is worth fighting for and living for, how it’s so priceless and shouldn’t be tossed away… even when she’s already dead he tries to force air back into her lungs. even when she’s dead, he’s still fighting for something that no longer exists. anyway,

It has an extremely glaring pro life plotline, it’s classist, it’s racist, it’s anti sex before marriage so much so that Edward doesn’t even open mouth kiss Bella the entire time they date, and the idea of marriage and having a baby at 18 years old is depicted as the ultimate reward and happily ever after for the female MC lol
