Have not been on tumblr since becoming a real adult but reappearing just so I can say speak now tv (my theory is she’s calling it enchanted instead) is coming next bc they played enchanted at the beginning and long live at the end, laura dern said speak NOT and gave us all a heart attack, we see THE haunted bell in the castle surrounded by dragons, she hit the THIRD elevator button that was PURPLE (each elevator button represented the corresponding album) and then next the 5th floor she walked out with her 1989 hair serving 1989 looks so obvi 1989 is after speak now so I have proof that I was right ok that’s all I’m sure I missed many easter eggs but @taylorswift is just psychotic so anyway bye

i think the real vocal difference is that on the originals you can tell little baby taylor is having to give it all she’s got full force every take, and adult taylor masters these songs so effortlessly and with so much control and confidence. not that she didn’t sound good before, she just sounds so much more relaxed in reaching that level. like she has nothing to prove, she has come home, she owns it.
