Legalize sex work and polyamorous marriage, and decriminalize drug use.
If something is legal you can control it and provide protections and standards. Sex work will always exist. It has always existed. People need money, and it’s no morally worse than any other physical labor. It shouldn’t be some weird hoop jumping that that leaves sex workers vulnerable.
Polyamory isn’t sinful or gross or even more sexual than monogamous relationships. Some people just find love with more than one person. And as long as there is healthy communication and consent, there’s no issue. It’s the same as monogamy, just more moving parts. So, people should be allowed to marry more than one person. Legitimize their relationships and commitments under law.
Decriminalizing drug use and providing medical and therapeutic support, is something that’s been done in Europe, and proves far more effective than the American view of addiction. People will do shit anyways, at least this way it kinda fizzles out the drug trade and makes it safer and gives people a way out.
I think the point of this post really is fuck American Protestantism and its bullshit tendrils in USA law.
