We found out last session that the original leader of the cultlike Lestean Rebellion is dead - and that Gracie isn’t just following through on her mercenary contract, but in charge of the whole operation herself now. It’s looking like there’s going to be a major confrontation in a session or two and I am SO excited to see how it plays out. Terrence would really like to stop Gracie from releasing Primor, the evil giant octopus demigod sealed under Bonnie’s home island… but he isn’t sure he has it in him to kill his sister if it comes to that 😰

Found some Calliope sketches from last year that I never posted! Calliope was my siren College of Epic Poetry bard in an Odyssey of Dragonlords campaign with some friends back in 2024-2025. I never really drew her enough… I’d blame the wings, but it also just took me a really long time to figure her out as a character tbh ;;>~> We wrapped up the campaign when I moved overseas, but I still look back on my time with that party fondly :)

I’ve finally accepted that the party ref sheet will never be complete… by the time I clean up and render one character’s outfit, the party goes shopping again and I have to redesign everyone 😅 Here’s every iteration of them I’ve done so far though! Notes for each below :]

1 - The party’s cold weather gear for the current arc set in Leste, a collection of islands far to the north and Garth and Bonnies’ home country. Bonnie and Terrence should actually both also have armor in this and the next slide, but while I can cheat Garth’s chain shirt with brush textures, I’m rarely in the mood to draw plate or scale mail ;;>~> The only change in Garth’s design in this version from the previous one is that she put on the leather jacket 😂

2 - The party’s previous main designs. Terrence is fully rendered in this one because he’s my guy and I was able to get a head start ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Bonnie had longer hair for some of this arc (which you can see in other stuff I’ve drawn of her), but I didn’t finish her base until the current one.

3 - Formalwear for a ball the party attended about a year ago IRL time. As cool as they are, these designs are a bit of a chore to render tbh; Garth alone took almost 30 hours, and I (clearly) haven’t finished Bonnie or Terrence. Bonnie’s player @night-comes-swiftly designed her and Garths’ stunning, detailed outfits, but I have no one to blame for Terrence’s overly ornate decorative armor but myself 😩

4 - The very first, VERY rough sketch I ever did of the party! Obviously didn’t get very far with it before overhauling the designs, but I included it for posterity :) Garth’s crystal hair was a slightly later idea from her player - in my early drawings like this she has a normal buzz cut. Both the party and my art have come such a long way since then 🥹

Marabou Steeljaw - Current freshman senator and former esteemed general of the Talisayan Navy. Employed the party for a few weeks during the Kangalan siege of Talisay to provide security at his speeches and thwart some Kangalan sympathizers within the city walls

Alleras Tyene - Professor of history at the University of Talisay; Terrence’s PhD advisor, whom the party had to rescue from some smugglers a while back

Yazid Alya - Leader of the Swords of the Ancients, a Lestean raiding force that specializes in artifacts and manuscripts of academic value; friend and collaborator of Alleras and an ally of the party

Terrence Hazeglow - Talisayan wizard PhD student and begrudging (cleric) vessel of the forgotten god currently known as Tod

Torr - Accomplished, respected Lestean raider; Garth's mom

Bonnie Jonah - Young, formerly sheltered Lestean paladin/sorcerer devoted to and favored by Umberlee

Senna - Boscan rebel leader and former agent of the Citadel; Garth’s ex and Bonnie’s mentor

Gracie Hazeglow* - Former member of the Talisayan Adventurers' Guild, current agent of the Citadel employed as a mercenary of the Lestean Rebellion; Terrence's older sister

Garth - Lestean bard/fighter following her whims and whimsy across the world

*Gracie has been my PC before in other settings and is one of my main OCs in other settings, but she's an NPC in this campaign
