it’s the first year of high school and todoroki gets invited to a halloween party. he doesn’t have a clue he had to wear a costume until midoriya asked him what he was going to dress up as. kaminari is like, dude you should totally go as zuko. todoroki’s like, umm, “is that a plant?” no todoroki zuko is not a plant he’s the prince of the fire nation. how do u not know prince zuko. yeah but todo’s never seen avatar: the last airbender so he’s not really getting why literally everyone thinks that’s the perfect costume for him. whatever, he gets some red and gold robes and he’s set. except we all know todoroki’s the biggest dumbass in the entire bnha-verse,, so he gets some concealer and red face paint and covers his own scar, only to paint another scar. over his right eye..
todoroki shows up to this halloween party and everyone compliments him on his costume,, no one has the heart to tell him that the scar is on the wrong side. except some local walks up to him, thinking todoroki did this “scar on the wrong side” thing on purpose, so this dude just goes, “your zuko costume’s pretty good, but the scar’s on the wrong side!” and instead of replying, “the scar’s NOT on the wrong side!” todoroki is like, “oh, is it really? oops” and takes a wet napkin and just fucking wipes off his face paint and concealer to reveal his actual scar
everyone is screaming. todoroki continues to eat pink starburst without taking off the wrappers (he doesn’t know and can’t taste the paper lmao give him a break here). kaminari is in tears
