Bucky Barnes Thunderbolts* (2025) dir. Jake Schreier
I think I finally figured out why I'm not the biggest fan of endgame: I REALLY don't like the way they did some characters endings. Especially when it comes to Steve Rodgers and Tony Stark. They built up this entire thing throughout several movies about how selfless of a person Steve Rodgers is, and how he only sees his place as being in the military/fighting for those who can't fight. So how would it make any sense for him to then go back into the past to be with Peggy? It's cute, yes, but that idea should've stayed in fanfiction and off the screen. Because ultimately, sending the man who said himself that he wants to fight for those who can't fight into the past to go live a domestic life? It makes no sense. And not just that, there's ZERO implications that while in the past he saved Bucky or Nat. I feel like if he knew, and had the chance to save them- ESPECIALLY Bucky- he would've. Overall, his story ending made 0 sense for the character and felt like a rushed way to finish his story and get actors/the movie itself out on time.
As for Tony- I will die on this hill, he shouldn't have been the one to do the snap. I feel like he knew the snap would kill him, and despite all the dumb and selfless things he's been shown to do... He knew his family, his DAUGHTER was waiting for him at home. I don't feel like it made sense for him to do the snap other than a legendary moment and a way to, once again, finish his story and get actors/the movie itself out on time.
Tony should've gotten that domestic life with Morgan and Pepper, and Steve deserved that last selfless act of service by doing the snap and saving everyone. IDC that the movie is 6 years old I will die on this hill.

Tony, why are you always acting like you're on a runway? Seriously. Take a look at this pose. The popped up foot-the sunglasses balanced on the bridge of his noes! Full time diva!
