We’ve had a lot of rain filling the Powder River & greening up everything. The sagebrush, trees, grass, flowers & even the cattle are happy it’s Spring time, here in Northeast Wyoming. The Gravel turns to dirt after Arvada to the Rest stop. That 34 mile stretch is the only worry in the event of a rainy race day. The rest of the route is well maintained county road. An absolutely perfect place to Start & Finish this historical Race. Lots of parking space, room to unload your gear and prep, huge area for prep talks before start time. The entry & exit to the school is prime for starting and finishing. The drive out is not far at all.
