who is the grumpiest in the morning - They are both a bit grumpy in the morning, but their mornings start at different times (Bilbo gets up for first breakfast, Thorin doesn’t) so they aren’t usually grumpy at each other. 

who worries more when the other is sick/hurt - Bilbo. It’s not that Thorin doesn’t fret and worry - because he does a lot - but dwarves are hardier than hobbits, and if Thorin is hurt or sick, he is really hurt or sick.  

who plays pranks on the other - Bilbo usually starts the prank war, but Thorin ends it before they declare a truce. 

who is always the first to suggest cuddling on the sofa - Thorin. Bilbo would never be out of arm’s reach if he had his way. 

who insists on creating nicknames for the other - Thorin had a lot of private nicknames for Bilbo, but Bilbo was the first to use any out loud. 

who drools on the other when they’re asleep - Bilbo. He’s lucky that Thorin finds it endearing. 

who says ‘I love you’ first - Bilbo. Sadly Thorin doesn’t hear, as he is a bleeding to death at the time. Luckily, he 100% recovers and nothing sad happens, and Bilbo gets to repeat himself.
