Prudii clutched his brother closer as they both trembled, they were small enough that the bed they currently occupied would have had room left to spare. Almost too empty, in fact. Another flash made both boys jump and if it were possible cling tighter to each other. Prudii tried to stave off the memories that surged forward with each flash, and the guilt that followed.

He wished that all their brothers would have had the opportunity to have been saved by Kal’buir, they deserved to belong and stay together as brothers too.  Another rumble of thunder and he was reliving the worst day in his young life, the first live fire exercise, due to the tampering in his genetics he was unable to dampen or forget a second of it.

Scent: Smoke

The blaster scoring and charred remains still smelt like the smoke that had filled the hanger hours before.Prudii knew the devastation of the order given hours before but he had to see it for himself. He ran to fingers along a gash in the wall, the metal now cool to the touch, the lightsaber that caused it mere feet away.The sharp smell was still irritating to his lungs, much like the carnage around him and the events that lead up to the scene before him. What may have started as a spark and then quickly blazed into an inferno, leaving behind charred bits of those who survived- whatever was left would have a hell of a time grasping at whatever semblance of normalcy remained, if any at all.The metallic glint pulled his attention to it, he moved towards it, mind racing through the many times and stances it's user had done in his presence over the years. He reached for it slowly, carefully holding it he hefted it's weight before hiding it in his civvie bag. Never know when one of these could come in handy.It's not Etain's but maybe Kad could use a backup weapon when he's older. Handy enough for opening stubborn doors anyway.
