Aspects of personality

According to psychology, a person has many aspects of personality that is expressed in different situations. For instance, one may be a "daughter," a "student," and a "best-friend" at the same time. This encompasses different domains of self that is often unique to the aspects, and some shared as well. One may associate "smart" and "hardworking" in the aspect of student, while "fun," "outgoing," "partying" in another. Does that mean that these seemingly contradicting characteristics all a part of one's self? Or is there a "true-self" hiding underneath?

I am a drunkard that gets sober from time to time.

I have never been drunk before. But I am drunk all the time. So I will teach you how to be sober. Because sometimes, life forces me sober.

I am always drunk without my permission. My head is always cloudy, always under the influence.

Sometimes, when life gets serious and I face problems with real consequences, it forces me sober.

Sobriety is my favourite thing in the world. When you are a drunkard all the time, experiencing life with a clear head from time to time is an addicting experience.

This isn’t about being drunk. But it is about being sober.

Peaky Blinders: The immortal man (SPOILERS!!!)

Watched this in the theatre, and waiting for this to come out on Netflix so I can watch with subs to actually understand the dialogue lol. Loved this movie, it was sad saying goodbye to Tommy Shelby, and certainly did not except to say goodbye to Ada either. The OG Shelbys are now all gone. I think his death was the only way to end this, because if they had kept him alive, it would have done so much unkindness to that character. He wanted to die from the beginning of the show, and finally he got it, and will be joining his family now. If they had kept him alive, he would have just suffered until he died anyway, and I really think they gave him just enough redemption in the perfect way before he died. Although going into the movie, I was not expecting to continue watching the next 2 seasons with his son Duke, I am now well persuaded (the first time I heard him speak I knew I was going to keep watching lmao) watch S7 and 8. So far, one of my favourite things about Duke’s character is his slight vulnerability (eg: wanting his dad’s acknowledgement, wanting to belong to family, and hesitating to kill that random man) that we never got to see in Tommy as he had already gone down to the dark side by the time we are introduced to him.
