Painted this for my Pawpaw who's health is quickly declining since the death of my Nina this past Christmas. It's his favorite bird, the Red-bellied Woodpecker. My family is full of animal lovers and he was a veterinarian to all kinds, including cows and horses, and had many of his own. This Friday I'll be in this show, please come out and support this extremely worthy cause. This show is a tribute to all the missing, murdered and trafficked women of the world. Today my wonderful Nina passed away. She was such a bright soul who uplifted so many people in so many ways. She was charitable with her time, spirit, and love. She will be missed by so many. Prayers and warm thoughts welcome for my family and me while we continue to miss her hilarious and helpful attitude like crazy. Especially for my Papa, Everett Martin. (at Bryan, Texas)
