“To try to not be more interesting but be more interested” literally changed my life perspective btw
can’t use the internet without adblock because it’s so crowded that it’s unusable can’t read important breaking news without a subscription can’t get a streaming service without them eventually adding commercials can’t watch youtube videos without 30 ads can’t search up things on google without seeing a shit ton of sponsored results can’t answer unknown numbers because everything is a scam call can’t use essential app features without a 30 dollar subscription per month can’t watch a music video without product placement. is anyone else tired
me realizing gen z has probably not experienced an internet outside of this
there were dedicated forums and geocities and myspace profiles and endless mmorpgs that also had custom profiles and sites where you could make your own social network and glitter graphics and livejournal and chatzy and imvu and wizard 101 and toontown and vside and onverse and weeworld and free realms and the pirates of the caribbean game and club penguin and google was actually a search engine
You can really tell when someone is in their body. The way they walk, like they feel every part of their body move. When they listen to music, they close their eyes. When they eat, they can barely talk because the tastes are stealing their focus. The connection to the senses is the greatest liberator, but I think so many things in every day life steal that from us. A lot of mental stress accumulates from a lack of this connection. Not that it’s the sole reason, but to find that connection at least gives you a fighting chance.

Pshh, hey. If you are in a budget or if you have to hide your practice, I have some witchy tips for you.
• You don’t need to have an altar. But if you want to, creating an altar on a wooden box is great; you can collect stuff to put in there and you can hide it under your bed.
• You don’t need crystals. Common rocks can be energised to act with a certain intention and they work just as well. You can also associate the place you got the stone/rock from with an intention, such as: a rock from a river or sea can be used for cleansing, purifying, taking energies away from you. A stone found at the property of a hospital can be used for health spells. These are vague examples, so I might make a list later on of all kinds of things you can do with mineral founding.
• Energised water is a great offering to most entities. Water holds memory and it’s easy to energise it with a certain intention if you concentrate.
• You don’t actually need candles. For many deities, an object that remembers you of them works as a taglock, an identification of the deity you’re worshipping. Besides, many spells do not need candles to work, such as: ritual baths, petitions, etc.
Have fun, and remember that your practice isn’t meant to look the same as other practitioners’. We are supposed to do things our own way, as long as it doesn’t harm anyone or anything.

Combine all the ingredients on low heat until all together. Let cool and spoon into a piping bag or a bowl if you want to spoon the jam into the cookie.
Directions
First, preheat your oven to 320 F.
In a medium-size bowl combine softened butter and powdered sugar until fully combined with a spatula. You can now add your egg yolk, vanilla, and salt. Mix until very smooth.
Add in sieved flour and stir. Now work with your hands until you form a nice smooth ball. The dough with start off crumbly, but as you work it, it will become smooth.
Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and make small, equal-sized balls and place them on the sheet. Now with a ¼ tsp or your thumb, make indents in the dough. Make sure to oil your tsp to make sure it doesn’t stick to the dough. Add in your jam mixture with a spoon or a piping bag.
Bake the cookies for 16 minutes or until done.
I enjoy your criticism, likes, and reblogs! It lets me know that I’m doing a good job :)
I love you all! My DMs, mail, and comments are always open!

You don’t have to have fancy crystals and herbs for spell jars btw. You can use sugar, coffee grounds, leaves, acorns, etc. Don’t fall victim to witchcraft consumerism.
You don't even have to use jars. I still make spell pouches from old clothes, sheets, etc. But I'm an old witch and started back before the jar phenomena began. (We still saved old jars but that was mainly for storage.)
