I had a dream-fragment where Jay was a cyborg. This was mentioned casually.

That has got to be the best dream ever (even if it was just part of it) 

 also by it being mentioned casually you probably just mean it being randomly brought up in a conversation but i immediately thought of this ridiculous scenario where jay like, loses an arm or something and everybody’s freaking out cause why isn’t he bleeding why are you so calm about this WHAT’S GOING ON?!  and Jay’s just like, dudes chill i’m a cyborg that’s my robot arm and everyone’s like W H A T? and jay’s just like, oh? I didn’t tell you? in the way you might mention forgetting to tell someone like your favorite color or something and I am just C A C K L I N G imagining this ridiculous scenario thank you so much for sharing

I decided I wanted to draw the ninja, and as I was drawing Jay I realised I accidentally made him look more like me than my last couple drawings of my own self

i’m gonna be completely honest that sounds exactly like something i would do. actually i am like 60% sure i have in fact done something like that before, it’s good to know i’m not the only one

Ninjago Au/story idea/ idon'tknowidaydreamalotdowiththiswhatyouwill where Cole finds an abandoned toddler Lloyd(whether it was Misako or whoever they left toddler Lloyd with who left him there is up to you) in the woods and just?? adopts him???

but the problem is Cole's a 17 year old who's basically living in his van since he quit dance school so the first few days are just really hard and he's agonizing over how to tell his dad about everything in a way that doesn't end in 'give Lloyd to social services to take care of' when his van breaks down and of course he's now freaking out even more but luckily for him he meets a nice mechanic(*Spoiler alert* It's Jay.) who offers to fix his van for a ride out of town cause he needs to go to this specific blacksmith shop(Kai and Nya's) to get parts made for an invention so that somehow leads to all five of them(Cole, Kai, Nya, Jay, and baby Lloyd) becoming friends which leads to them all helping Jay with his inventions which leads to Jay crashing into a certain orphan's 'yard'(Zane has an apartment) and they also become friends and have adventures in babysitting, autism, friendship, and learning why it's probably not a good idea to take a toddler to a mall on a Monday holiday(also probably crushes too lets be honest)

and it's all great and fun and cool and Cole and Lloyd mostly live with Zane cause he has an extra room but they move between the three houses, But then! Tragedy in two parts. Zane gets kicked out of his apartment for some reason and Kai and Nya's shop/house burns down(Kai's not sure what happened, all he knows is he woke up from a nightmare and everything was on fire)  

so now four out of five of the (almost) adults in their little group are homeless and Jay and his parents said they could stay as long as they needed to but the reality is they live in a trailer it's just not big enough and Cole's really considering telling his dad(he had never really stopped considering it, switching between friends houses isn't healthy for someone his age, much less a toddler) but as soon as he makes the decision to go back home and take his friends with him Zane freaking. disappears

so of course they have to look for him and he eventually comes back and is just "I have found us a new home" and leads them to a freaking. flying pirate ship. Just. Sitting there. Abandoned. In the middle of the desert. and Cole's just like "Yeah, that's fair." cause honestly he needs a lucky break and Jay's like "How did you even find this?!" and Zane's Just "I followed a falcon" and they all just accept it cause, yeah, that sounds like something Zane would do. So now they have the Destiny's Bounty and Cole has once again managed to avoid telling his dad that he is now a grandparent to a 2 year old and that he has been lying about school for months

they do still have their elemental powers, it's more of a tweaked timeline than a full on alternate universe, it's set when Lloyd was a toddler, it's just the ninjas(and probably their parents) ages who have changed

also Cole's van is like? a tiny bus?? Like it has van seats but it has three rows and that little handle door opener thing that buses have??? and only two doors????? (the front and back doors) so it's like? someone just put van seats into a tiny bus??? i have no idea how to describe this image i have in my head it's the weirdest thing but i'm gonna be honest i have never loved a car more

i just really love this whole idea but i have no idea what to do with it so. here. take it. do with it what you will. i might draw random stuff from it but i don't have any plans for it. so have fun. go nuts

i spent much, much longer on this than i meant to, and part of that is because i decided it was a good idea to add props

but hey, I like it, and that’s all that matters

I decided they’re making a cake for Lloyd’s birthday, it’s chocolate cinnamon

I also kinda made a ficlet to go with it, I’ll put it under the cut, it’s not very long

The kitchen was, admittedly, in disarray, but that was okay.

It was a special occasion, after all.

"Oops," Cole laughed, stirring the batter he was mixing a little less vigorously, "See? I told you a cinnamon chocolate cake was a good idea!" he glanced over slightly; to see how Zane would respond to that.

Zane smiled, and rested his arms on the counter in front of him, "I still do not see how you making a mess of the kitchen will affect Lloyd's enjoyment of his cake."

Cole beamed, then pretended to scoff, "Come on Zane, it's like the saying goes, it's not the gift that counts, it's how big a mess you make creating it!" He pulled the whisk out and gestured with it, splattering batter everywhere.

Zane laughed lightly and shook his head, wiping batter off his face, "I do not believe that is how the saying goes."

He looked more intently at the batter Cole was mixing, then got an idea, and smirked.

Cole frowned slightly, “What’s what look fo-?”

Zane leaned forward and swiped some batter from the side of the bowl with his finger.

Cole gasped, "H-hey! you can't do that!" He pouted, "You said I couldn't have any of the batter until we were done!"

Zane laughed, licking the batter off his finger, "True, but I did not eat all the baking chocolate before we started; thus forcing us to go buy more."

Cole snorted, trying to keep up his pouty facade, "Okay, okay, you got me, but it's still so rude." he made sure to exaggerate the pout a little more

Zane smiled, biting his lip, "Oh, I apologize I-" He snorted, and looked down, "I shall be sure to-" he giggled and looked up to see Cole's now even more over-exaggerated pout, "Um- to- to look out for that in the-um," he laughed harder, now leaning heavily on the counter.

Cole opened his eyes wider and stuck his lip out more, "Zane."

Zane wheezed silently.

Cole changed his voice an octave, putting down the bowl so he could lean closer to the nindroid, "Zane, why are you laughing Zane? What's so funny Zane?" He leaned closer to Zane, who had put his head down again. "Huh Zane, what's so funny?"

Zane looked up to see Cole about an inch from his face and finally let go of his support, falling to the floor in a heap, full out laughing.

Cole smiled and started a laugh of his own.

By the time Kai came to ask how the cake was coming along they were both wheezing and laying next to each other on the floor.

I haven't posted any drawings on here for awhile so have a few ninja sketches that came out pretty well (and by a few I mean three)

I really like the Cole one (let him have cake) and I'd never drawn Nya before, suprisingly, so that was fun

i’ve never actually finished a 30 day challenge so i said to myself, hey, just draw 30 characters you headcanon as autistic (or who actually are autistic), you’ve been looking to draw more autistic themed stuff anyway, so why not?

Man, this was intense to draw. Not just a small Lloyd but also these two lovely Snakes; Thrallta (Left) and Vipera (Right). And they are OC’s that I have incorporated into my fanfic ‘Cold Blood’ where Lloyd gets all the love he deserves when he is adopted by the Serpentine. And if Lloyd can paint some ribs on his jumper to be more like his Dad he can paint some Serpentine hood markings too.
