she recognized the odd girl immediately — less because of her appearance && more because every time she encountered her the other seemed to be doing something decidedly strange . not that she really spoke to her many times — once , maybe twice . though that had proven enough to leave enough of an imprint on the blonde’s mind . yet , when she saw the girl sitting out in the middle of the road , she’d stop in her tracks — uncertain as to whether she should say something or not . wasn’t as if she wanted the girl to get HURT , but didn’t want to intrude , either . especially when they'd barely even ever really spoken .
but thankfully , her decision seemed to have been made for her when the other stood && greeted her . would meet the other with a warm smile && an energetic wave as she approached the other girl . “ oh , hey ! how’re you doing ? are you okay ? you — probably shouldn’t be out in the road like that , you know . you could get hurt or something if you’re not careful . ”
She stopped herself to think about the first question. Was she allowed to say the truth about her current state of affairs? Would that be considered rude amongst other people? She was not sure. Maybe she will share a part of her problems and see the other’s reaction before judging how she should proceed further? Yes, that is a good plan, she should do that. The entire chain of thoughts didn’t take more than two seconds, so the awkward silence should not have been all that long.
“I am....relatively safe. The problem of finding a place to sleep is still pending. My clothing should use some cleaning. I haven’t eaten in....hmmm...approximately 43 hours and seven minutes, more or less. Other than that? I deem the situation within the Acceptable norms, considering my circumstances.” That is a very nonchalant way of saying you are starving and homeless. But it works for her the best, so she went with that. She did decide to add to her words a few seconds later.
“I should not be injured should I stay at that specific part of the road, I have been sitting there for the past few days, I seem to be in relative safety....how are you?” The cyborg remembered the fact that one should ask about the conversation partner's well being right after she is asked about her own. The facial expression on the blonde’s face remained unreadable, her eyes still having almost no signs of life in them. She is exhausted, that much is certain.
