Chapter 1 (Prologue)
Thinking about the fact that if Jessica and her beloved honey bunny had a baby, it'd be Lola. Sweet little athlete baby of retired former film stars.
9 months in the womb and she looks like her stupid father.
Here's some notes on some of the upper body muscles so you, artist, don't need to look them up
They are not medically accurate, just enough for artists to know the necessary muscles and how they work together
I 100% recommend doing the last exercise I did to be able to actually place the muscles
more women whump. more women pushing themselves and passing out from sleep deprivation and exhaustion. more women training until their knuckles bleed and their legs give out from under them. more women being held prisoner and remaining stoic until the very end or perhaps when they’re rescued. more women under truth serum and terrifying hallucinogens. more women waking up in a pool of blood, their own and others’ and not knowing what happened but that something is terribly wrong with them. more women falling apart o ly when rescued. more women pushed to their breaking point. more women whump.

How will this work?
You already know who you want to work with? Great! Fill this form!
If you do not have anyone:
I will provide a google sheet to fill for those of you who do not have someone to write with. Please either choose from the people already there or fill it!
The description says 5 chapters, but we only need THREE: each writer will write three (3) chapters, for a total of six!
You (as a team) will choose two (2) tropes and two (2) prompts that are opposite!! This will be most fun if your choice are truly opposite, so keep that in mind as you choose!
Lists to chose from (Please open this link in a new tab because you will need it!)
How many words per chapter? You will decide a range between the two of you. What is doable for each writer always changes so it is up to your team to decide.
Sign up period: June 1st to June 30th
Writing starts July 1st
There WILL be check-ins every two (2) weeks!

Kyalin - a kiss pressed to the neck
Here is my second take on this prompt! This time I made it more fluffy.
prompts closed for now | check out my fics on ao3
Lin sat curled in the large lounge chair on her balcony, layers of thick blankets pulled high around her shoulders. The city stretched in front of her, a sea of golden light and faint noise, ever restless, even at this hour. The cold had sharpened over the last week, and she knew winter was fast approaching, but the air was clean and crisp in a way she rarely associated with Republic City.
The balcony door slid open with barely a sound. A moment later, warm fingers brushed hers as Kya pressed a steaming mug into her hand.
“Thank you,” Lin said quietly, savoring the tea’s warmth.
Kya smiled. “You’re welcome,” she said, before climbing into the cocoon of blankets with her before Lin could protest.
She wedged herself between the armrest and Lin’s side, and Lin snorted softly but made no move to stop her. Soon Kya was pressed flush against her, burrowing in as if the spot had always belonged to her. She took Lin’s free hand beneath the blankets, threading their fingers together. Her face found its place against her neck, her breath warm against Lin’s skin. Lin smiled to herself.
Her body still ached, but in the nicest way possible. It was a soreness she wasn’t accustomed to, but didn’t necessarily dislike. It was only the second night they had spent together, but Lin could already tell something had shifted inside of her. They hadn’t talked about it, about what this was or what it might become. She wasn’t entirely sure she was ready for it, either. Not when she barely knew what she wanted. All she knew was that she didn’t want it to stop. That she didn’t want Kya to gather her things, to leave her bed, to leave her.
That want alone unsettled her more than anything else.
She sipped her tea, letting the warmth settle in her chest, and forced herself not to dwell on it.
Kya shifted against her, lips brushing the curve of her neck in a kiss so soft it stole the air from her lungs. Lin didn’t trust herself to speak, so she said nothing. She only tightened her grip on Kya’s hand, her thumb brushing slow circles over her knuckles.
Kya hummed, a content little sound that vibrated against Lin’s skin. Lin stared out at the lights, at the faint pulse of the city far below, and let herself sink into the quiet. It should have felt unbearably sentimental, romantic in a way she had always rolled her eyes at and dismissed as frivolous. And yet, with Kya’s warmth pressed against her, with the steady rhythm of her breathing lulling her into a state of calm, Lin found she didn’t mind.
Not at all.
The anons responding to my post abt one of the Beifong siblings getting severely injured/scarred in the battle against Kuvira and bringing up Opal, you're so correct. And I'm honestly surprised that it didn't happen. Like, remember when the Airbenders got hit with the nuke canon and Opal was out and it looked like she'd straight up Died?
Like she has to be carried back to homebase. And then the next time we see her she's just Fine. Like fucking imagine if she at least had a concussion or smth. The guilt Lin, the twins and Bolin would feel for being there and not being able to do something. The guilt Su would feel for not being there (specifically becauss she was taking care of Baatar Jr). The guilt Baatar Jr would feel because He's the one who engineered the machine that harmed his favourite sibling. Imagine how he would feel, waking up in the sick bay after being betrayed by Kuvira, only to see Opal be carried in a few minutes later.
Interaction witnessed at post office today:
Elderly lady mail clerk and young customer are chatting. Customer says, "oh! I'm wearing my boss's coat right now, give me something weird to put in the pocket!" Others within earshot all start looking for something because, hey, important quest. Mail clerk finally reaches under counter, pulls out a large roll of labels, and tears one off.

Cybertruck. It was a cybertruck.
Suyin: When they were invented, Lin told me that the paper strip that’s in the chocolate kisses were edible and I ate them with the chocolate for a year. Kya: They are! Suyin: FOR REAL? Lin: Why would you believe in this again?
Lin: [rolls over in bed and knees Kya in the ribs] Kya: Ow! you kneed me Lin: [sleepily] yeah i do need you Kya: [voice cracking] okay
