I look at the men in Marvel Rivals and I'm absolutely convinced this game is made for gay men in every sense of the word. The female characters are aggressively sexualized [not cute way], the male characters are aggressively sexualized too, but it feels like the game barely has any male archetypes that would actually appeal to women. I'm not trying to blame sexualization now I don't care. I'm just talking about character design and what audience they're made for.
Maybe I'm wrong and some women really do like extremely broad-shouldered men, but if the game had a graceful twink without a sixpack, wouldn't you prefer him instead? For science, reblog this poll. I want to know.
What do you prefer?
I'm a woman and I prefer skinny/graceful male characters
I'm a man and I prefer skinny/graceful male characters
I'm nonbinary and I prefer skinny/graceful male characters
I'm a woman and I prefer broad, muscular male characters

do you know what's interesting about Doorman? he can be anyone, not just a doorman. he can take on any profession to get close to people and learn about them
the other day I was thinking about Doorman as a dentist, and for some reason that seemed incredibly sexy to me. though I'm not sure what he could really learn from people in that role, other than the fact that we really don't like going to the dentist.
I've also imagined him as a psychotherapist, but that didn't strike me as such a good idea. sure he'd learn a ton of information that would fascinate him, but I'm pretty sure his advice would be... catastrophically bad and that's not even considering the fact that he already knows your fears by heart and can literally get inside your head!
I'd much rather have him get inside my mouth than my mind...
whiny time
people are always like 'If you like a ship then create content for it yourself instead of complaining about other people!'
honestly I do create the things I want to see. but it's really lonely doing it by yourself and never seeing anyone else's work about the same idea.
I've never really cared about likes, engagement, or anything like that. What actually makes me sad is feeling like nobody else is interested in it. I can't discuss these characters with other people from the perspective that I see them, because there simply isn't anyone who shares that interpretation.
It's not about popularity. It's about wanting to share your enthusiasm with others and realizing that you're the only one talking about it.
this woman from the artbook kinda looks like genderbent Viktor because of the broad nose and the small forehead

I think many people fail to understand that Viktor is equally capable of forgetting about food, sleep, friends, romantic relationships, and even his own health whenever he becomes consumed by an idea.
Jayce is not an exception. Jayce simply happens to be close to the idea in question. In Season 1, it was the Hextech theory. In Season 2, it was the anomaly core.
When someone considers their goal that important, personal relationships begin to exist within the framework of that goal rather than separately from it. But the true motivation is the goal itself, not the person.
He is an emotionally unavailable person.
I would say that although Viktor is lonely, he has been more than accustomed to it since childhood. His true passion is science.
That is why it is so difficult for him to understand or even notice that he matters to other people, such as Sky and Jayce.
