Sypnosis: Being there for him after a match.

He felt like he was overheating, not his body but his mind. His eyes closing and opening until he placed his head in his hands to try drown out the noise.

He didn’t know whether to feel like a failure or not, was he enough? was it worthy of the top spot? His brother passing through his thoughts no matter how hard he tried to stop it.

Until he felt a pair of arms wrap around his head, his forehead resting against your stomach as he exhaled, the only thing he heard was his pulse while his hands gripped at the clothing near your hips, knuckles turning white.

Your hands ran through his hair, providing a safe space for him to just be, while you leaned down to kiss at his head.

It was awhile of silence and audible breaths from him before you felt the kisses being reciprocated against the sliver of skin exposed at your waist line.

His eyes fluttered, looking at the floor while the top of his head still rested against your stomach.

Your hands trailed down, thumbs rubbing into his shoulders as you let him take as much time as he needed, patting the sweat of his skin with the towel draped around his neck.

„Thanks..”, he mumble, placing a kiss on the inside of your wrist before holding it against his cheek.

Pairing: Rin Itoishi x reader

Synopsis: Self indulgent angst because men ain't shit and I'm going through it tee hee hee.

You and Rin have had a friendship that dated back to a long time, well that's what it felt like. Whenever he went to blue lock, you were always there, over text, over call and so forth.

Despite his cold and closed of demeanour, underneath he was different, he did in fact care, maybe overly much but despite it all he'd take a bullet over those he'd care about, no matter how enraged they made him (Queue that time he nearly got hit by car when retrieving a ticket to Sae's match)

The way he treated you aways made you feel butterflies. He was quiet but listened to your every word, the way he spoke to you and the way you two messaged and spoke always felt like there was a hint of flirting or something affectionate in the air.

However one day you learned he had recently gotten into a relationship with a girl, he'd known her for awhile, longer than you and it made a jealous pit form in your stomach even though you knew it wasn't right. Especially since you two rarely met up yet texted and called like you were both pursuing more.

You of course tried to keep it as respectful as possible, having a cheery voice and upbeat words queued whenever he rarely spoke about her, wishing them well.

Until he called you one day, his voice anguished, some words you couldn't make out but he let on that he couldn't take it anymore, he was jealous of another guy she was too close with, doing nothing to ease his heart, wishing there was some things that could be fixed and so on and you listened.

Despite it all you felt almost foolish with how worried you were, sending him messages, playlists, words of encouragement as support, trying to call him, you weren't sure if you were doing the right or wrong thing.

You'd texted the next day and after until you realised you weren't getting a reply. You were stuck in your head, pacing at times, not knowing what to do as you wracked your brain, thinking of things you could've done wrong. Maybe he was tired, he's been through a lot, he needed time, all of those things littered your head.

Your heart nearly jumped to your throat when he messaged you back, using your nickname which made your heart flutter as he told you he was fine. You started typing, high on adrenaline how scared you were, only for the next message to be,

"I'm with her, so I haven't been in touch"

Synopsis: Evening with a quiet yet pissed of Sae hating on his biggest nemesis.

It was a late evening, the dim lighting setting a glow on his sharp features as his eyes focused on the screen. Brows furrowed, eyes sharp and nose almost scrunched while watching the match. Occasionally leaning his forearms on his knees, pissed of mutters escaping his lips.

He rolled his eyes for the umpteenth time as he glared at the screen, hands clasped together before tugging and undoing the second button of his shirt.

"Lukewarm prick-.."

".."

"Most basic shot I've seen.."

The word "pathetic" having rolled of his tongue more than once as he huffed and puffed watching Bunny Iglesias's match.

You watched from the kitchen, having been making something for yourself, observing his reactions and trying your best to hide the laugh in your throat seeing him slip into your fluffy slippers at half time and shuffle into the kitchen, muttering under his breath while rubbing his temple.

You kept watch of him while sipping your tea before he walked past taking the mug out of your hands and taking a sip himself until he shoved its back, walking into the bathroom and walking out with sheet masks and two fluffy headbands, courtesy of you.

"So how are you?", you ask slowly as you felt his fingers brush your hair out of your face while slipping the headband on with either bear or little fluffy cat ears atop, neither of you could tell what animal they tried to portray.

"Great", he responded bluntly as he started to tear and place the sheet mask on your face, smoothing the creases and massaging it into your face.

"How's the match?", you ask another question, carefully threading into his prides territory as you occupied yourself with his mask, fiddling with the packaging while he mindlessly shoved the other headband on top of his own head messily.

"Phenomenal", the word laced with more sarcasm than the last as you started to apply the wet sheet on his face, slowly trying to get it to lay over his skin properly in return.

All that for him to grab your wrist before lacing your fingers together and taking your cup, pulling you to the couch as the match was about to restart, having taken your tea for himself.

He sat down crossing his arms before the face he despised most appeared on the tv and he looked over expectantly as if ordering you to start severely shit talking since he was too proud to do it in the way you did.

Your lips pulled in a smile, a bit surprised he lasted for 45 minutes into the match before calling upon your immaculate shit talking abilities. You sat up, clearing your throat before starting to spew the most outrageous things only for him to be nodding along with a serious expression as if you were giving him the best strategy he'd ever heard.
