Outfits art!! And for the first time in my life I'm drawing Rhys, wohoo. He looks nothing like he should, but that's okay for once because Rhys generally has a curse on him that no one can really draw him perfectly. If I could do that, I'd know I'd reached the peak of art.

Anyway, in general I don't really like the simple dresses people draw for these characters – they're literally fairies. In the cruelest court in all of Prythian. Under the command of the old-fashioned Amarantha. Don't tell me she doesn't wear something borderline ostentatious. And she'd probably make Rhys wear it, too. It would probably be a way of mocking him, dressing him up like a doll in expensive, nice clothes and thus separating him from everyone else.

I think Rhys's time Under The Mountain is one of the most interesting periods of his life, and that we don't have enough art, or pretty much anything, for it. Someone should fix that 🤔

acotar where everything’s the same but the high lords are ten times weirder than everyone else because the magic of the land actively molds them to fit their court and in turn makes them into something that’s not quite fae. beron who is a little too long all over, a little too spindly, who can twist his head too far around like a barn owl. when tarquin smiles, for just an instant, he has too many teeth to fit in his mouth and his eyes shift with the color of the sea. killias’ mere presence drops the room’s temperature, his skin glimmers like ice in the sun, and when he speaks there’s a rasp in his voice that brings to mind the howling of a deadly blizzard against a mountaintop. i truly do think it would make them all 10x sexier actually.

Just saw someone say that NATLA paralleled the Oma & Shu relationship with Katara & Sokka's sibling relationship and they should have just had the Kat@ang parallel instead.
