okay dont get me wrong i LOVE melissa benoist as supergirl (forever a fav show of mine.) but im so excited to see james gunn take on supergirl, we get to finally see the version of supergirl that deserves to be told.

how kara literally struggles with seeing her home planet die, her family literally everything dying before her eyes. yes her and kal both lost krypton but kara literally remembers EVERYTHING so there has to be struggles with it.

we get to see him explore her grief, anger the whole shbang and i cannot wait to cry my eyes out when i see it.
