Sometimes what you had before is hard to turn back to. I feel like that is how Rapunzel felt after the events of Tangled the Series. And that makes me feel even closer to her, because I know when my roots come, or when I have to cut my hair, I look in the mirror and I don't see myself. I see an impostor. My hair became such a part of me that whenever I change it my character changes too. It's growth. You take away something, but gain another. 🥰

Please accept this as my humble contribution to Cassandra Appreciation Month.

Despite the nasty behavior that prompted it, it's nice to see the fandom stand together &I too wanted to do something nice for everyone &above all for you Cass fans.𖹭

When I started this drawing, I knew I wanted to draw a dynamic pose fitting for her character &her finale outfit as we saw so little of it. I actually had no idea what to do for the background at first &I struggled like crazy with her sword. But, in all honesty, I am pretty proud of how it came out. >:3

This is Darling Dearest! She is a mermaid who is just like her name! She loves water but oh, how wonderful it is to be on land! To feel the ground beneath your feet... She loves anything that is sweet and sugary and as you can see, she is an avid fan of tule, mesh and flowy, soft fabrics.

This darling and her design came to my mind while I was eating cotton candy with my friends at an amusement part couple days ago!

Summary:

Two souls that are all but alone. One is as his name means, variable, unique… Smarter than anyone in his picturesque village. The other, A girl in love with anything associated with art and knowledge. One can hear her, but never visualize—for she seldom steps on nature; when she does, it's in an hidden place. One day she sings by her window while conducting an experiment as usual, but on this fateful day, he notices her singing. From this a friendship's first foundations get laid. As years pass by this friendship will build into something ethereal as Lorelei and Varian get older together. But fate does not glow its fortunes on someone, as it is erratic and unpredictable.

One choice can have a dire result, grief leads Varian adrift. In the aftermath of a vow, cruel fate swiftly ruined its sanctity. “Insane” they label her, she gets sent to an asylum. There she finds key features about her being. Stuck in her own prison, she burns the shackles that keep her from escaping. Finding herself along the way, Lorelei gets back home and finds herself unable to discern right and wrong. Until a friend guides her to redemption. What if this is not the end and a threat looms, revealing secrets that are buried six feet deep?
