Hi!! Decided I should probably do a intro post, it’s gonna be kinda crappy but OH WELL

I’m Oakley, I’m a furry, but I’m also otherpaw and cathearted. Oakley isn’t my real name, it’s my fursona’s name, and since they’re also a cat it felt very fitting. My pronouns are he/they/she, I don’t care which you use, but that is in my order of preference :)

I’m genderqueer, I’m cupioromantic and I identify as well with the mlm pride flag, and I’m some brand of asexual

I like Percy Jackson (and the rest of the Riordanverse), The Raven Cycle, Keeper Of The Lost Cities, How to Train Your Dragon, My Hero Academia, and probably some more I’m forgetting. I’m also a kinda ex-fan of Wings of Fire, they hold a special place in my heart bc those books were bangers but I haven’t read them in years so my knowledge is rusty to say the least

IDK if this is just me, but I’ve recently been looking into alterhumans and therians and otherpaws and otherhearted and have settled on the label of animalhearted (specifically cathearted, if you couldn’t tell by the pfp and username) and I’m having a hard time finding stuff on YouTube and tumblr that’s about specifically animalhearted people, not people who identify with both being otherhearted AND therian or otherkin.

I have a deep connection with cats, I like to meow and make biscuits, I like rubbing up against things. I’m trying quadrobics a bit, and I wish I could purr or wear a mask/tail. But I can also tell I am absolutely human. I’m not a cat, I don’t identify as one, but I still have such a deep bond and connection to them, which is why I label myself cathearted.

PLEASE point me in the direction of resources and communities that I can bond with over being simply animalhearted and not therian
