“Infinite possibilities… How soon until it is claimed?”

It was difficult to explain how much time it wold be; could have been days to months, but Anders knew it was easier to simply give the facts rather than assumptions ( even though knowing everything was key ),  ❝ Soon enough. I estimate with-in a week or less.❞

     ‘What’s he planning?’ Was the first thought to cross his mind. Broll had had to learn through experiences and betrayals that things here were not quite as straightforward as they were in Dire Maul where every argument could be settled with a few solid punches and perhaps some sharp teeth. It had led to an inclination towards caution nowadays which magnified any inkling of suspicion tenfold.

     “I suppose I can…hear what you wish to say,” He replied with trepidation in his tone. Despite his misgivings, it went against the very fibers of Broll’s being to simply attack someone - or rip them to shreds, as the other had noted - without any reasonable cause. Even with the reputation that Anders carried, it was only fair that the worgen be given at least a chance. Broll himself had needed plenty of those in his time under the influence of the corrupted Idol.

     The druid’s stance relaxed by the barest of intervals and he let his grip slacken on his staff, although that wouldn’t have been much reassurance to anyone who had witnessed his bear form. “Speak then, if you are truly here to talk. But, fair warning, if you give me any reason at all to think that you pose a threat, I will not hesitate to act accordingly.”

A slight nod was given in return; it was only natural to be on edge ---- Anders would have done the same thing in his position, but for now, it was simply a game of pushing and pulling to get what he truely wanted. Not that he cared about the end result ---- he just wanted everything to happen so Anders came out on top.

❝Understood. I want to make this clear; I don’t like you, I don’t like other Druids, and I don’t even like Xavius.❞   A deep breath then escaped his lips, ❝ However, i’m here to put forth a pressing issue; the Nightmare needs to be stopped from spreading. Not eliminated as many would think, but instead, it needs to be contained; I have a few idea’s to this, but this needs to stay between us until the time is right.❞

Anders then rubbed at his chin for a few moments, ❝ I don’t care what you do anything else in the dream, but I still have to protect what is mine. ❞

“I have heard of druids like you. You are a disappointment just like those shadow priests.” Avran did not care how rude or harsh she sounded. She spoke plainly as she would have to any other. This druid did not have her respect and she was weary of him.

“The Cenarion Circle will deal with. As long as you walk in our given lands. I will see that you do not cause trouble.”

While she might have spoke plainly, the simple facts of the matter were quite clear in all reality; she didn’t like him. It was quite obvious by her tone as well as words that she thought of him as nothing more than a specific ...nuisance.

Personally, there was a time he would have agreed with the other, but for now, he simply thought of her words as nothing more than simple amusement, “Each being of the TWIN words has their place, dear. Darkness and Light... shadows and despair.” There was a pause, “If I wanted to cause trouble, it would have already been done.”

Anders made sure to keep his jaw clenched firmly for a few moments, as much as he hated Xavius, he still knew his place, and it was why he was trying to keep his comments as short as possible for the time being, “Things are going better than expected.” He commented as dryly as possible, “It’s only a matter of time before the Dream slowly... CHANGES the existing druids.”

          alexstrasza sat and listened to the young man, paying attention and digesting every word of his. she had heard of the nightmare, and it was as if she sat on her hands. ysera was dead, the flight was in shambles — if nothing was done, the greens would go extinct; something she did not enjoy the thought of. if the greens disappeared, the druids soon would as well, if they did not resist the corruption or cut themselves from the dream entirely – which had drastic repercussions. the dragonqueens hands clasped together on her lap / soft sigh escaping ruby lips. ‘ balance is, unfortunately, a requirement to the grand scheme of things — i wish it were not so. ’ it was apart of him? that part confused her, yet anders did not seem hostile or otherwise toward her - she felt in no danger. ‘ if there is anything i can do to help, let me know. ’

It was harder than he wished to admit; the Balance was of course needed, but with the death of the Ysera, that made it harder than he would like to admit to keep --- something that hopefully would even itself out in all reality, “Trying to keep the balance is almost always difficult.” Even more so for Anders somewhat different point of view on the matter, but it was better in his mind to simply deal with what he could than try to effect what he knew was over his head..

Either way, he knew that there was more than likely some confusing notions in what he was saying, and he knew that eventually he would have to explain; even if it was just in parts, “There always has to be two sides of the coin, but it’s often difficult staying in the middle.” A pause, “ Especially for what I am and the mistakes I have made.”
