Noctis raised a pacifying hand even after she’d tumbled through, breaking an expensive crystal glass–shame, he’d liked that one. Real Antivan glass work that would be expensive to replace, even if it was pocket change to the likes of him. She seemed nervous. Too nervous to really hold her own–either it was from surprise, or him. Part of him hoped it was him, if because it kept aggressors at bay. His family didn’t have the tamest of reputations, even for Antivans. 

“Guys, calm down. Let me speak to her.” Though she bumbled through an explanation, cunning sanguine eyes sized her up like a serpent, all entirely intentional. “Who are you and how did you get in? –Aside from the obvious. You kinda just poofed in.”
