I think the most infuriating thing one can experience in this day and age is being expected to completely change their formatting just to appease someone who thinks it, “sounds like AI.” Opinions on Gen AI aside, am I seriously expected to completely alter my style of writing because I happen to use a specific technique—which, by the way, predates AI—in my writing? How is that reasonable whatsoever?

AI didn’t create the em-dash, for fucks sake.

Like, sorry, do you want me to write entirely in lowercase with zero punctuation? Do you want me to just write a wall of text? Do you want me to start deliberately misspelling words?

Read my first full book (of my own volition) in years today. I loved reading for years, and I just sorta stopped doing it for a while (years) because I was so deeply entrenched in short-form content and ai chatbots, but baby steps.

Guys I’m lowkey kinda tired of Shadow Milk. They literally killed off all the other beasts (with multiple being off-screened) just to force more Shadow Milk down our throats.

I was always indifferent to Shadow Milk, but this really irked me. It feels like such a cheap cop-out so that DevSis doesn’t have to pretend Shadow Milk isn’t the favorite/main beast anymore. We got completely robbed of MF, ES, and BS arcs just so that SM could have his little cookie dick sucked off by the writers.

And can we talk about how the writers genuinely seem to have selective amnesia when it comes to WL? A lot of her Beast Yeast arc is about her realizing she has to move forward with her life and can’t stay stuck in the past, wallowing in her own guilt and trying to find penitence for a past she couldn’t change, while the world moves on without her… and then she kills herself to atone.

I’m dead serious. She says herself that this is her atonement.

But hey we got a canon SilentLily child, so fuck yeah.
