Unfortunately for Ryo’s concerns, Bakura was indeed still around, just uninterested in his former host. At least for now, anyway. Just like the shadow he was, Mariku quickly managed to tail Ryo to the apartment and stood there for a moment, staring at the door the white haired male had just bypassed, and without a resounding lock clicking as well? Cautious, he barely touched the door and he noticed it swing open just a hair enough to see to his utter amazement: no Bakura. Not even the red-wearing thief.
Ryo went through the front door, and into the kitchen, only stopping to turn on the light to at least make sure it wasn't dim anymore. He went to the fridge figuring he would get the stuff out to cook some kind of meal for himself, and then to start in on his letter to Amane.
There was also the book he was wanting to read that Yuugi had loaned him. Something about the history of video games. He was following this train of thought even as he thought he had seen something out of the corner of his eye. He realized he had left the door open, and it was swinging.
