“Let’s go G! We can’t be late!” He pulled Grian along, his cane tapped against the road.
“Wait- Scar! Where are we going! What are we gonna be late for?” Grian asked, stumbling to catch up with Scar as he got pulled.
“Don’t be silly, you should know out of everyone!” Scar pulled Grian into his house, Grian crashed into Scar, causing the two to fall like a pair of dominos. Grian didn’t budge for a second, trying to catch his breath, underneath him he felt a small hum.
Grian looked up, his face rested against Scar’s chest. Scar had his hand covering his face laughing. Grian stared down at Scar. Letting out a huff of air, Grian started laughing too. Scar sat up, Grian still atop of him.
“You’re cute.” Scar pressed his head against Grian’s shoulder. Grian froze, using his smaller wings to hide his face.
Scar’s hands wrapped around Grian’s waist. There was no bad intent. Just something soft. And just for a moment - it was just the two of them, no one there to stop them. Just them.
Grian’s stomach filled with butterflies and blush slowly creeped up his face.
“Come on, we gotta get ready now.” Scar tapped Grian with his cane. Grian and Scar stood up. “Your suit should be in your room.”
Grian paused. His room? Since when did he live with Scar? Despite that Grian made his way down to his room, when he entered his room his suit was different shades of white with a red tie and lavender pocket fillers.
Grian walked out with an untied tie. He never could tie one for his life. Scar turned around in another white suit, his pocket filler was poppies with a green tie.
“Hey.” Scar replied, tying Grian’s tie for him. “You need to dress better for your own wedding G.”
Grian’s eyes widened, WEDDING? who was getting married too! He heard Scar’s familiar snicker, Grian looked up.
“aha- breaking my heart over here” Scar fiend, pressing his hand over his forehead.
“Oh, you know I would never,” Grian said, before even thinking. “I love you too much for that,”
Scar peaked an eye open, before his fake frown spread into his iconic grin. “awe, I love you too G!”
Scar hugged Grian, still careful to avoid his wings. Grian hugged him back. Scar slowly pulled back, his eyes soft. Grian stared up at Scar.
Grian watched Scar’s eyes flicker down to his lips for a second. Scar grabbed Grian’s hands and swayed them around the living room.
“Aha- lalalala” Scar laughed, “Do you remember our first kiss?”
Grian looked up at Scar. Pure joy shimmered in his eyes, Grian’s heart fluttered and his smile grew. “I do, but do me a favor and tell me again,”
A soft laughter came from Scar’s mouth, his voice was so beautiful, he was so perfect.
