The Bonnie and Annie Baking Bonanza! || Bannie
Annie had long ago stopped reminding Bonnie she had teapots too because her cousin would never change. Which honestly, Annie loved this the best about her and plus, her teapot was the best. Reaching out, she patted the pot, “Aw, I’ve missed you pot!”
With a slight dramatic roll of her eyes, Annie moved over and put an arm over Bonnie’s shoulders as her cousin gushed about her soon-to-be-success, “Sorry I didn’t text you about it,” she said with a slight frown. “I meant to tell you, but I didn’t,” Annie poked her side before saying, “But I appreciate your vote of confidence - we’ll definitely be my date at my award ceremony,” she kissed Bonnie’s cheek before moving away to get them mugs for tea.
“Um… I’ll do mac and cheese,” she said, and then teasingly added, “My one true love.”
“Yes, I better be your date... I mean, unless you’ve married Ryan Gosling or something. Then I’ll just figure out a way to sneak back stage or something. I’m pretty sure I could do it if I just walked with confidence,” Bonnie mused, turning on the burner and plopping the kettle onto it.
“So... uhm...” Bonnie paused, digging through the things she brought, finally pulling out blocks of cheese and a cheese grater. (Bonnie was sometimes overly prepared.) She handed them to Annie. “Have you... uh... talked to Alan?” she asked, trying to be casual but failing miserably. Annie was a good source of information about what was going on in Alan’s life at the moment. “Because I haven’t really talked to him since that whole thing at his party with Chase and Kim and then I’ve been hearing he’s been hanging out with some girl, but no one seems to be able to tell me who she is and...” she paused, looking at Annie.
“I’m sorry. You don’t have to tell me anything....” she said quickly, turning back to her bag and pulling things out to start making the weird mini pizzas. “Do you think Billy will even show his face at this party?” she asked, inquiring about Colin and Chase’s roommate. “Wait-- Billy isn’t right is it? Barry? Bosco? Bobby. Bobby, right?” she rambled, trying to change the subject.
