Day 6/9: Eldritch/Space

I… am really proud of this one. It fits both the "Eldritch" and "Space" prompt, so I suppose I can just combine them into one.

This is my headcanon for "Space Ancient!Danny". He calls it his "Cosmic Horror" form, but his friends think it gives more of a "Cosmic Comfort" vibe.

My thought process was this:

Most of the fandom about Danny's Eldritch Form: SHADOWS, DARKNESS, BLACK HOLES, THE COLD CARELESSNESS OF THE INFINITE SPACE!!!" Me: what if… Lots of Stars?

Once I was feeding some ducks from a bag of birdseed I brought with me, and this woman next to me looked so confused and asked what I was feeding them

When I said it was birdseed she just went “oh- can they actually eat that? Is that safe?”

I didnt know how to respond like, at all, so I just pointed at the duck and said “bird”

She then had a look on her face like a new groove was just forcibly carved in her brain and said softly “oh my fucking god”

Danny: The woman who’s taking care of Gotham parks and the man who really loves his wife? I’ve seen them sometimes. They’re cool.

Tim: …… uh huh. We have the Croc as well, an enormous, reptilian creature with sentience that lurks in the sewers. 

Danny: *nonchalantly* Waylon. He sometimes protects the homeless kids too. 

Tim: *sigh* Sure. Whatever. Well, the Joker is—

Danny: That fucking asshat who hurts people and doesn’t deserve his name because of his shitty, unfunny humor? I hope that bitch dies already, me and so many others have been praying on his downfall but that cockroach is still alive somehow.
