This feels like my 543423th post this night, but it’s important for us to realize that Christen was not listened to. She was ignored, dismissed and made to feel like her experience and feelings weren’t valid.

Christen was even in 2014 a pretty well known player in the league, she was a player who was on the national team. In 2018 she was a very well known player with connections in woso and although she wasn’t appreciated by Jill she was consistently part of the NT.

She was ignored, dismissed and pushed aside by USSF, the league and Chicago.

Now imagine being a 3rd round draft pick, 22 years old, fresh out of college. No national team, no allocation, on minimum wage, barely getting minutes for your team and your coach is Burke, Dames or Riley.

If players like Christen are so easily silenced and dismissed i know that 3rd round rookie can’t even report what has happened to her. Predators like these coaches won’t hesitate to take advantage and that’s exactly why this league needs to be turned upside down right fucking now!

My sister knew a women who would adopt any solid black cat with yellow eyes that came into the shelter. No cats with green eyes, no spots of white. Solid black. My sister later discovered why. Her husband doesn't want any more cats, but isn't actually sure of how many they have. So as long as her cats look exactly the same as the others, he can't pick them out and be unhappy when the brings home another one.
