Also, I am finally back from Youmacon and back to work. prepping for the torture that are Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Things will be pretty much insane for me until the week after New Years is over, because the winter holiday season is nuts at work. SO if my inactivity continues, that’s why.

[♠] - The Ark had a rather strange code embedded in its system.

It must be occupied at all times.

If Lightning were to leave, he’d have to remain. If she were to stay in the Ark for whatever reason whether it be recovery or some other matter, then Hope was permitted to leave.

That’s why the generator, rather spitting him back into the Ark, absolutely confused him. Hope couldn’t repel the curiosity that came in waves as he looked into Luxerion, examining the city closer.

Noel was there, and so was a young woman who Hope knew quite well. Someone very important to him.

She wasn’t in danger, hadn’t seem to change, but Hope hadn’t spoken with her just yet. And he wasn’t sure what pushed him to try and warp down to Luxerion just to see her. He was pretty sure Bhunivelze took away those emotions - why did he feel so strongly about one person?

Luxerion was dangerous - day or night. And with Lightning roaming around, the street’s dangers prowled more so.

He was unsure of where she was, not bothering to think his choice through before warping down to the world below. So he roamed near the largest building, her “headquarters” no doubt, keeping low as not to disturb anyone.

Maybe she wasn’t “home” yet; perhaps she was elsewhere.

The petite redhead gently patted her freshly cleaned hair dry with a fluffy white towel. It had been yet another long day, and the seemingly young woman was growing drowsy. Once her towel was tossed to the side, she threw on her favorite pink satin nightgown, and returned to the master bedroom of her finely furnished apartment. Her eyes drifted towards her large walk in closet, the one that held all sorts of lovely clothes that had been endowed upon her over the past five hundred years. There were clothes that she rarely touched, some that she'd only ever worn when she was required to wear formal attire for things, and some that she had never touched because she had simply preferred to wear her old Oerban garb instead.

There were, however, a few clothes back in the corner of the closet that did not belong to her- mens clothes that she had salvaged from the apartment of one of her dearest loved ones after he had gone missing nearly two hundred years prior. She kept all of his belongings here. She knew that her beloved wasn't dead. She could hear the souls of the dead speaking to her, after all, and his voice had never been amongst them. She felt in her heart that he would return to claim everything that belonged to him eventually. It was only a matter of time. Until then, however, she took one of his crisp white dress shirts off its hanger, and although it hung far too loose for her tiny frame, it kept her just warm enough to fend off the slight autumn chill.

She returned to her bedroom, and, as was her ritual, went to open a window so she could kneel on the windowsill and breathe in the scent of fresh air as she silently began her nighttime prayer.

Okay. I’m pretty much officially gonna go on RP hiatus. FFXIV is taking over my life, and I haven’t spent any time on cosplay stuff for this upcoming con yet. And I also need to get solo writing stuff done and posted.

I’m still gonna reply to threads I currently have to reply to, probably have responses by thursday or sunday, but i’m not gonna start any new threads (unless they’re really easy one-liners that I can drop at the end of the day). This goes for all my RP accounts.
