/ / - [ Night was a calming time for the Nightsister. It seemed a little cliche, admittedly, but nights on Dathomir were some of the most calming for Merrin as a child. Lonely, too. The isolation of her people didn't do young Merrin any favors. After being saved by the Witches of Dathomir, and after the Nightsister buried her sisters (And beloved Ilyana), she followed some of the Nightbrothers around. For a while, that was, until Malicos came to her home.
-- [ And so loneliness became her companion. That is until the Mantis crew burst into her life. Especially a certain red-head Jedi. Life had a funny way of forcing you on the path forward. So, while she had a family now (Or at least companions), Merrin still found herself a somewhat solitary creature. She craved the closeness that she had with her sisters when she was young. But now, habit was hard to kick.
-- [ The Zabrak stumbled upon Cal unintentionally. He was doing Jedi things and even though she didn't understand, she didn't want to interrupt. She thought that perhaps she wasn't noticed, but being directly addressed by the Jedi proved otherwise. "A bit, yes," she agreed, keeping a 'safe' distance away. "I was looking around," the Zabrak answered Cal's other question. Exploring in the dark allowed her to see the world in such a different way with her low light vision.
-- [ She blinked a few times before holding her head high and projecting confidence outward. Though she definitely didn't feel it inward. "I was lonely."
