🍓 …someone my muse has never met, but wants to meet.
In its glory days there was no denying Cheyenne was probably a bustling big city but nowadays the population of the living is minuscule compared to the amount of roaming undead. For that reason alone Carmen has pretty much met or crossed paths with everyone with a heartbeat within the city limits. There’s a differencing between meeting and knowing however and there a quite a few people she’d love to get to know better.
Aiden (@rubctosis ) for example. He is the leader of her camp but they’ve barely spoken more than a couple sentences to each other. Though she’s sure that’s her own fault. A part of her is hesitate to get attached to another authority figure because the last one she lived under abused his power and she really can’t afford to lose her faith in Cheyenne, not yet.
Natalie (@survivingxnatalie ) she doesn’t know much about the girl but there is softness about her that reminds Carmen of a friend she lost during the beginning of the outbreak. As a result, she finds herself naturally gravitating towards her and wanting to protect her in the way that she couldn’t protect that friend.
And plenty of others. If it were up to Carmen she’d meet every survivor she could. Even the ones that are worse than the zombies that haunt her dreams. Some run to solitude to survive but Carmen’s tactic has always been togetherness. She’s learned to survive on her own now (she’s done things so many things in the past three years to prove that to herself) It’s just that she doesn’t want to.
