why laveyans are wrong about satanism
laveyan satanism â an organization which advocates for division between church and state, freedom from religion, and is against religious extremism. sometimes atheistic, sometimes worships mankind as gods.
if you take a look through the church of satanâs twitter, youâll probably come across their claims that âtheistic satanism is an oxymoronâ.Â
every day, i see laveyans claim that âdevil worshipersâ (who i will be calling satanists from now on in this post for simplicityâs sake, though not all people who worship the devil are referred to as satanists â and laveyan satanists will be referred to as âlaveyansâ) are inherently evil or are morally corrupt. they believe that we support abuse and violence. this is absolutely not the case.
ask any satanist, and they will tell you: we do NOT support harm to others.
personally, iâve found that a great number of laveyans are very hypocritical. one of their main goals is to call out christians and other religious peopleâs conceit. however, when i come across a laveyan, nine times out of ten, they are just as disrespectful to religious people as the people they supposedly oppose.Â
this isnât to say that all laveyans are bad people. iâm simply attempting to call out the hypocrisy in their actions.Â
they also like to claim that satanism inherently implies laveyan satanism. this, in my opinion, is extremely disrespectful to theistic satanists. it is the erasure of a religion.Â
things satanists are:
followers of satan/lucifer
things satanists are not:
christians (christian as a term implies the worship of yahweh, and while some satanists believe in yahweh, we are very obviously against his teachings and reject the term christian for this reason)
abusers (satan/lucifer does not support the harm of human beings, and we do not need to be told not to hurt people. we have our own moral compasses)
immoral (as i said before, the reason many satanists worship satan/lucifer is because we disagree with the morality of yahweh. we are just as moral as anyone else)
animal killers (we donât sacrifice live animals. thanks)
i would be very happy to answer any questions, and if i said anything incorrect or i wasnât able to articulate my point, feel free to ask about it because i probably made a couple mistakes.Â
thank you for reading.

The 39th of the 72 Spirits of Solomon, Malphas is a mighty great President (Prince in other texts) of Hell with forty legions of demons under his command. First appearing in Johann Weirs Pseudomonarchia daemonum, Malphas appears as a crow or raven, or at the request of the conjurer appear as a human with a hoarse or raucous voice. He builds citidels and impregnable towers, breaks down enemy barricades, finds good workers, bring knowledge of enemies desires and thoughts and what they have done, bring artificers together, gives good familiars, and will receive sacrifices willingly but deceive the sacrificers.

Iâve got no where else to turn to... does Lucifer love us? I know He will not help our every strife, but does He completely disregard us? Iâm a bit religiously lost.
My dear, Lucifer loves all who are kind, and he loves deeply. I know people usually believe he is evil, but seek him with an open mind and heart. Lucifer has watched over me my entire life and has done a great deal for me, even saving me several times; he is truly one of the most empathetic and compassionate beings I have ever met. He will not abandon anyone who needs him, ever.
Do try and reach out to him if you feel the desire to do so, I assure you he is incredibly wonderful and is greatly misunderstood by others. Speak to Lucifer and get to know him, then you will see for yourself whether or not his path is the right path for you.
Thank you so much for answering that question. So how exactly do you go about getting that information from Lucifer himself? Is it like praying/ are there offerings/ etc? Iâve been seeing your posts about Lilith as well and every single thing I read about her just pulls at me, so wondering the same about learning from Lilith herself as well
Getting in contact with Lucifer and Lilith is very simple, no ritual needed. For your first time communicating, I advise you get someplace quiet and alone so you can sense their energy better. Once you do that, focus on them and then speak either out-loud or in your head, you will be heard either way. Thereâs no need to speak formally either, you may speak freely so long as you are respectful. Also, you do not necessarily need offerings, theyâre just polite.
To learn about Lilith, it would definitely be best to gain information on her directly from her; thatâs how Iâve gotten all my info. Thereâs theories on both these deities, but none of them are completely correct, so be sure to ask them both whatever you wish to know and always try and gain proof.
If you are unable to hear entities at the moment, divination also works well, but try not to rely on it so you can develop that skill. Also, each time before using a divination tool, be sure to have your deity bless it so only they can use it, otherwise spirits may try to impersonate them.
Lucifer is Not a Symbol of Hate.
He is not here to damn you to eternal suffering. Not to cloud your mind and make you blind. Not to take away your freedoms and make you a slave. There is no punishment for disobeying/not following him. And he shouldnât be used that way. Heâs the saviour of humanity. He has freed us and given us knowledge and wisdom. He has opened our minds to the world around us, even past the human realm. He helps us grow and achieve our higher selves. He is loving, strong, and courageous. His light can be felt all around us; a comforting warmth. He makes us strong and brave. He shows us the truth that others hide from us. He is the lightbringer, and the king of this world.
Yes to all of this, but it is important to remember that he is no more a King of this world than we are. One could argue that this is his world because he has more control over it than his father does, and they wouldnât nessecarily be wrong, but Lucifer himself sees this as our world. Because we have the most control over ourselves, and thus, our world. A world that he helped build, but did it with and for us.
One cannot be a king if they encourage rebellion. One cannot be a king if they encourage their subjects to be skeptical of his words. One cannot be a king if they put the people before the monarchy. All of Luciferâs actions deter the idea that he is a god (or king) to be worshipped. His goal was never worship of himself. His goal was the worship of ourselves, and of humanity.
He is our leader, our mentor, our guiding light, our companion, our friend. But he is not a king. Nor is he a god.
And isnât it absolutely beautiful that there exists a being we can follow out of respect and love with no ulterior motive of fear?
I encourage everyone, whether youâve only just met Lucifer or if youâve been following him for years, to look at him in a light seperate from god. He is not a replacement. He is not the antithesis of god. He is his own being, and with his power he chose to help us grow. We neednât worship him, we neednât treat him like a being beyond our understanding. For he has always been with us, right by our side from the Day humanity was born.
And the only worship he demands is the worship of thyself.
âDisobedience, in the eyes of anyone who has read history, is manâs original virtue. It is through disobedience that progress has been made, through disobedience and through rebellion.â

On Christianity, From A Satanist
I feel that Christianity, as an institution and religion, has failed the people that it claims to love, the standards that it claims to uphold, and the morals they claim to represent. For too long, many people have been abused and even killed in the name of an institution purportedly operating under the will of God.
Christianity has become less and less of a belief and more and more of a controlling force: comply and turn to God, serving His will, or you will be beaten, threatened, abused, or killed for the sake of a crusade that has become a battle of Christians vs Everyone Else.
In the name of Christianity, myself and many others have been threatened and abused. I have had my freedoms taken away from me and had to live in fear of what would happen should I not comply. Before the age of eighteen, I had threats yelled at me, âGodâs willâ held above my head as a way to control my behavior, beaten for my disobedience, and taken to what was, essentially, conversion therapy at the hands of a local church.
How could a religion that is supposedly good and righteous stand by and support threatening children with punishment, knowingly strip away the rights of others, and stand by silent as their own ministers rape and abuse children? Why is there no widespread outrage? Do they not take a step back and assess their own actions at all?
Not all Christians are like this, and few in the world are acting to make a change, and for those that are, I commend you. We are not against you, but the theocracy that you serve under. Keep fighting the fight to change the world that we live in, we have your backs.
Whatâs Lucifer like? What does he like and dislike? What makes him happy and mad? What are some of his favourite things? Iâm very devoted to him but I have a hard time communicating with him and I wish to get to know him on a personal level itâs just I have a hard time knowing the difference between if itâs really him talking to me or just all in my head, you know?
Oh I can certainly help with this! He and I are quite close.
Personality-wise, Lucifer is calm, introverted, confident, wise, empathetic, friendly, bluntly honest, protective, noble, sophisticated, proud, curious, determined, courageous, and a great many other things. Though his other aspect is Satan which holds his âdarkerâ traits such as brutality, harsh punishments, wrath, vengeance, lust, and other feral feelings. Although overall as a deity, heâs very patient and tender-hearted.Â
He loves all things beautiful, heâs very much a lover of art. Lucifer has told me he is particularly fond of roses, lilies, hyacinth, fruits, dark and clear crystals, bones, black feathers, animals that people tend to hate or fear (snakes, sharks, stingrays, crows, etc.) though he also loves cats, perfume, wine, champagne, chocolates, pastries, blades, armour, silver jewelry, books (heâs mostly fond of Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe, old classic novels, and non-fiction), poetry, prose, snakeskins, artwork, classical music, rock music, dragonâs blood incense, sulphur, and coffee. He also enjoys horror movies so perhaps invite him to watch some with you! He has told me that some of his favourite movies are The Silence of the Lambs and The Crow.Â
I havenât found him to be very picky, though it would help to use divination to speak with him since you canât quite hear entities.Â
Kimaris, ruler of the African Spirits
The demon Kimaris appears in the grimoires Book of Incantations, The Discoverie of Witchcraft, Pseudomonarchia Daemonum, and The Lesser Key of Solomon
Kimaris, despite being a demon, is well known to be a goodly warrior riding a black shadowy horse, and possesses the abilities of locating lost or hidden treasures, teaching trivium (grammar, logic and rhetoric) and making a man into a warrior of his own likeness. He holds the rank of marquis, and is served by 20 legions. Fallen Angel and 66th of the 72 Spirits of Solomon.
While he may seem goodly in nature, his weapon speaks otherwise. He possesses a bow in his arsenal, which is capable of firing condensed shadowy matter that engulfs the target in an endless void of darkness, causing them be blind and be in a state of sheer panic. The victim eventually goes mad and take their own lives.
He also rules spirits in Africa. In Harleian Ms. 6482, titled âThe Rosie Crucian Secretsâ (printed by the Aquarian Press, 1985), Dr. Rudd lists Cimeries as the 26th jinni made use of by King Solomon. He also attributes an angel Cimeriel to one of Deeâs Enochian Ensigns of Creation, the tablet of 24 mansions (see McLean, Treatise on Angel Magic). The earliest mention of Chamariel is in Rossiâs Gnostic tractate (see Meyer and Smith, Ancient Christian Magic). It is probable that the earliest mention of Kimaris is also Coptic, found in the London oriental mss 6796 where the name âAkathama Chamarisâ appears (Meyer and Smith). In this text, the entity in question does not appear to be evil; rather, he is addressed as a godlike helping spirit.
Baskinâs Dictionary of Satanism speculates that Cimeries is derived from Cimmerians, a warlike people mentioned in the works of several classical authors as dwelling totally in darkness.
It is also possible that Cimeries is derived from Chimaira, the three-headed, fire-breathing lion-goat-serpent who eventually became one of the guardians of the underworld. There is a precedent, considering that the harmless Phoenix is also Demonized in the Goetia.

âCimejes/Cimeies/Kimaris is the Sixty-sixth Spirit. He is a powerful Marquis who appears in the form of a Warrior who rides upon a large Black Horse. This spirit rules over all spirit who are haunters of Africa, and Governs 20 Legions of Infernal Spirits. Cimejes teaches grammar, logic and is a divinatory spirit who reveals hidden treasures of subconscious knowledge within the self. â
