What Kind Of Stupid Are You?

You think you're safe don't you? You are probably the responsible one in the group, perhaps even the mom friend. You are relatively smart but all it takes is one little thing to suck all your braincells out. It could be hanging around your fellow stupid friends, it could be being left alone, it could be having a bit too much fun. The stupid lives inside you and it just takes the right environment for it to show.

I know Nero uses shadow but I'm not changing something so core to this muse. Rhaast could have been a fiend that Kayn defeated and it became his weapon. The two arguing frequently (or he arguing with it openly hehe).

Would have to think it over a bit more but ~ Could be fun :D

A hum echoed from the foggy dirty cobbled city streets, it was rather ominous coming from the darkness. Especially when the oncoming storm draped the entire city in a blanket of darkness that seemed to approach at the same place of the song. It reverberated through the air, carried in the wind, if someone didn't know any better it could've just been assumed to be the wind itself.

The smell of copper hit his nose, any man would have shied away from the scent. But to Vlad it smells sickly sweet as if it were a scent from his childhood. Fresh blood, open wounds, it was something he was accustomed to at a young age. The way his lips twisted into a smile held a maliciousness that only a hungry wolf would have when baring its fangs at prey. Pale features seemed to twist itself into what would be a human face as the moonlight touched his skin. The shadows that slowly covered him would give the impression his features were shifting to something inhuman out of sight. Whatever light touched his skin and hair, made him glow eerily like a ghost in the night. But the crimson pools that filled the blackened sclera of his eyes said otherwise. The Noxian attire he wore almost matching the hue pooling blood, arms resting behind his back as he sauntered his way through the streets without a care in the world. His eyes locked onto the scene before him, boots stopping mere centimeters from the mess. The cobble barely having time to absorb the spreading blood from whatever wound it came from the unconcious men. However, despite the violence his mood never changed. His smile remained on his face as he observed in silence for a moment. "I see someone has made their own entertainment for the night." he mused, voice melodic but spoken in a tone an aristocrat would have. It was almost endearing towards the violence. His hands moved from his back, fingers playing with the cuffs of his coat as he straightened his attire.

Oh great.. Just what he needed. Some idiot with a broom up his backside. Maybe. Probably. Kayn pushed up smoothly with the half emptied bottle of cheap, Noxian liquor held within his hold. He doesn't offer the stranger more than a bitter glance. Doesn't bother to waste his time on some Noxian snob. He just tips back the bottle, and chugs down the rest before haphazardly tossing the darkened glass container towards a nearby waste disposal. Overfilled, no doubt. Noxus was hard and cruel, but the city wasn't filled with garbage.. unless you're unlucky enough to live in the slums. At least that's how it was when Kayn was a child. Back when he was surviving the streets. An abandoned street urchin.

"What do you want?" He finally spoke up, smearing blood and remnants of booze away from his lips and chin. "Or are you busy passing the time, staring down your nose at other people's misfortunes?"

Hands rough against his attire in some half-assed effort to clean them. An attempt that would lead to more of a mess. Dirt and blood further smeared and stained into his clothes, causing the young man to scoff lightly at the ridiculousness of it. He could shed some of it. Make due with just pants and boots. Share his beloved tattoo swirling up his arm, and the distinctive abnormalities that marred the skin on the opposite arm. Reddened scars that were not quite what they seemed. All hidden for the moment.

Maybe he will - if this turns into another fight. He has time, and no patience when it comes to stupidity. Surely this man is looking for a quick trip to the muddied cobblestone. A mouth full of his own blood. Heh - He likes that idea. Imagining Vladimir in such a state manages to pull the smallest tug at the edge of his lips. Some inside joke at the aristocrats expense.

"Keep moving unless you want to wind up like them." Sharply, Kayn gestured to the unfortunate men who thought he'd be an easy pick. His chest puffed and shoulders squared unconsciously to give him a much fuller, more intimidating look. He knew his worth. His capabilities. He has fought to keep the darkin at bay for several years now.. Who else had accomplished that?

Everyone else was too weak.. They all succumb. But not him.

Did a lazy blog update.  Just wanted to change the layout a bit since the old one had been like that for ages.  Debating what theme I’ll go with but for now this will work.  <3

Yes I’m semi-active here still so feel free to nudge me if we have a thread you want to continue, or you want to start something fresh.

What better company than a bottle of cheap, Noxian booze and the KO'd bodies of a few holier than thou thugs who had something to prove? Kayne might have argued it would be the scythe which he had become quite attached -- literally... given the blood magic that bound him to Rhaast. But he'd never tell. At least not easily. He'd lost it thanks to a strategic trap set by Swain. Ironic that he used a child of all things, to lure Kayn and get his guard down. He should have known better given his own history with Noxus.

He pulled a few gulps from the half empty bottle with bits of it run loose out the sides of his lips. Stinging and biting into the sections of split skin around his lower face. Blood was smashed into the side of the glass where it had been used to knock one of the obnoxious men unconscious so he might have a moment to sit, and reflect on his not so joyful time stuck in this hell nation. A heavy sigh escaped the young man with an irritating itch around the eye that would normally have shown the corruption of his darken counterpart - at least when he wasn't willing it back. Now looking overall normal - ish.

Kayn considered his next move as he set the bottle down beside him. Muddied boots, and dirty, blood speckled Noxian attire told a story of his time here. A day in the life of a Noxian traitor... One abandoned by his home nation as a child soldier. There's really no forgiving that.

Did he hear a voice? One of these idiots must be waking up. A firm kick to the head ought to silence the ramblings of a drunk fool. Eyes brought up to gaze at the thick, ominous clouds hung over the city. A bit of rain would be welcome. The cold might offer a bit of sooth for the ache of his injuries.

The temple loomed high above the forest. Decayed and dark, siphoned of the magic that once blossomed wildly within its walls when the Kinkou had resided there. Now, the Shadow Order having left it in a decayed state, loomed like a scar upon the face of Ionia's beauty. A reminder of the subtle dangers found within the Shadow Order's magic.

Even so - it was home. A place he had not witnessed in what felt like years. His body butchered and his mind tormented from his time in Noxus. The place of his birth. The nation that had forsaken him. Every step felt like he were walking upon a thousand needles. The attire of his blood nation heavy against his form. Layered to deal with the brutal cold of his travels across unpredictable waters, to reach the land he cared for so.

Tattered both in wear, and appearance. His hair was not well kept. The braid part unraveled, barely contained in any semblance of order. His skin; what was visible, dressed in dirt that looks like it's been there for a while. He looked like hell. Like the world had been torn away from him, rearranged, and thrust back into his lap to force him to cope with whatever truths he had discovered there.

At first, acolytes awed at his return. People scrambled to greet him, thrilled to have him back. But the look they received upon his entrance, was not of a man who confidently walked the halls of their temple. It was a man who had seen more than his mind could properly process. Strained, and struggling. A sense of untamed madness quivering in his hardened gaze. Wordless, boots with barely any sole left would strike the stone floor as he quietly walked the temple grounds in the direction of his room.

Not a peep from the acolytes. They stared at one another, then watched as Kayn vanished from the courtyard as he crossed the threshold. No one dared to follow. Whispers. Speculations.

Who would dare stand in front of the second in command, when he looks like this?

She can feel his eyes upon her. It’s normal, she’s used to it, people staring. Honestly, it’s sort of a badge of honor at this point. The only thing…he shouldn’t be staring, rather, shouldn’t be able to see her – not yet anyways. Best to get to the point of the matter sooner rather than later. “May I help you?”

It'd be easy to play innocent. Pretend he wasn't actually looking at her.. But - he turned completely when she asked. And that probably gave it away. "Well--" Exuding confidence, he continues with his shoulders straightened and a hand absently brushing his bangs from his eyes. "I could think of a few ways. Like.. Maybe you can tell me your name." If he's been caught, he may as well take advantage of it. She was very pretty, and she didn't seem at all intimidated by his presence which obviously, was a bonus.

"You can call me Kayn."

I am so behind on lore and stuff.  But looking at OG Kayn and Legend of Runeterra Kayn, it looks like the Darkin corruption has spread and Kayn is a lot darker than he use to be.

So are the two games tied together as far as lore goes?  Like legitimately canon and take place in the same world?
