“ The last time I got drunk was probably the worst thing I’ve experienced thus far, so I’ll have to pass tonight. Plus I’ve been voted as a designated driver for those who don’t feel like staying sober, but thanks for the offer. ”

Ever since we lost Allison on the show I've had such an empty place in my heart?? And you've definitely filled it with your amazing portrayal of her here. She's such an incredibly strong, yet warm character and you bring that to life better than anyone I've ever seen. I can't wait to interact with you more in the future, sweetpea! xo
We’ve got an angel in our midst, lovelies! Thank you so much for leaving this here for me, it means a lot to know I haven’t completely butchering this character since she is so very dear to me. More importantly, thank you for taking time out of your day to make someone else’s, you’re an absolute doll.
Who --- Allison Argent, Matt Donovan, & Stiles Stilinski What ---- The killing of the demon, Der Kindestod Where --- Mystic Hills General Hospital
Allison: The reality of what was occurring in the hospital should have granted Allison a sense of relief, if only because she had received some reassurance that she wasn’t losing her mind. But instead, it was anger that coursed through her veins, hot and wild. Yet another thing the Hellmouth had released, a DEMON that targeted children. It astounded her how much loathing one could have for a single individual, or group of individuals better yet. The coven that had opened the Hellmouth was indirectly responsible for rivers of blood that had been flowing through Mystic Hills since the day it had been opened. It was enough to make Allison’s fingers tremble with barely contained rage. She’d yet to properly accept what had happened to the boy she’d found so endearing, so kind and brave in the face of his illness. To know that he’d been killed by something that she might have been able to save him from tore at something in Allison. But she couldn’t focus on that now. Instead, she focused on channeling her anger into the plan that had been thought up by Lydia and Bonnie, something Allison was incredibly thankful for. The knives Lydia had brought her were something of a security blanket for the young huntress, fingers curled around them instinctively now that night had fallen once more. She’d had to hide them during the day, lest she give one of the nurses a fright. Now, however, she’s happy to have them by her side. Her fever had increased throughout the day, no doubt a direct result of cutting off the medicine she’d been given beforehand. She’d reached a dangerous 105, but it was necessary to see the thing to begin with. If nothing else, it gave the three of them incentive to get this over with quickly. Slipping out of bed, Allison felt a parallel to the night before when she’d first crept down with Matt and Stiles to check on the child they would now chalk up to another death in Mystic Hills. Setting her shoulders, Allison glanced at Matt, eyeing the bag that hung off his shoulder. “ You ready for this? "
Matt: Matt took a deep breath. In and out. His body felt a little weird, but he knew it was for a good cause. His forehead was sweating, probably glowing, being even warmer than it had been when he had fainted. His body felt like it could literally break through walls. A part of him was tempted to try it out, another part of him liked to keep his strength for the real reason, for why he actually had it. They were gonna kill the demon. They were gonna kill the monster that had killed all those children, that had taken all their lives, that had scared them more than anything had ever scared them before, than anything would ever scare them in the future. At least, he hoped that nothing this scary would ever harm them again. The entire hospital was dark and quiet. He could hear the soft sniffing of children, shivering in their beds. He could hear Allison breathing, both waiting for Stiles to arrive. His heart was racing in his chest and a part of him was afraid. Another part of him was filled with courage. They could do this. They had all the power and all the weapons they needed. All they had to do was killing the demon. Saving the children. He touched the bag on his back for a moment, filled with the crystals, and nodded. "Yeah, I'm ready. Feeling a little weird, but ready."
Stiles: It seemed like the minutes were ticking by inhumanly slow. It was taking quite literally forever for it to be time for him to meet with the others. Once the clock struck, he crawled out of the bed and headed across the empty room towards the doorway. It was weird to be both feverish yet to be filled with an unnatural sort of strength. He swore that he could probably tear the door that he had just walked through off of his hinges if he wanted. Stiles was half-tempted to try it just to see what sort of strength that he had been given. But, the thought quickly left his mind as that sort of action would draw unwarranted attention to him which was something that he didn't need if he wanted to complete what they had to do. No, this power was meant for the demon and that's what it would be used for. He headed towards the room that Matt and Allison had been put in and saw them standing just inside the doorway when he arrived. His eyes caught sight of the bag that was slung over and the knives down at Allison's side. Good, they were ready. "Let's go finish this," He said before moving away from the room and back down towards the children's ward.
Allison: A half smile found its way to her lips at the sight of Stiles, relieved that she didn’t have to do this alone. Despite the training she’d received, she didn’t think she’d be able to take down the creature alone. In fact, she knew she wouldn’t have been able to. Nodding at Stiles words, Allison slipped out the open door into the hallway, practiced movements following the path they’d traveled the night before to the stairwell. Where Allison hadn’t felt as sick yesterday, she was able to sympathize with Matt a bit more now that her fever had spiked. The stairs looked ominous, and though she held on to the railing so hard her knuckles turned white, Allison still didn’t feel very sturdy. Setting her bottom lip between her teeth, she focused all of her energy on successfully making her way down the stairs.
Matt: As quiet as possible they walked towards the stairs and Matt noticed how Allison was struggling. Unlike him and Stiles she didn't have any super powers and she was probably feeling as worse as he had done yesterday. He hurried himself in front of her, making sure that if she would fall, he would at least be able to catch her. Step for step he walked down and the closer they got to where the monster would hide, the faster his heart started to beat. It wouldn't be easy and maybe they would get hurt, but they had to do it. He felt the crystals burning in the bag on his back. He had to protect them with his life. He would protect them with his life.
Stiles: A concerned expression crossed his face at the sight of Allison struggling to make it down the stairs. He had the thought to reach out to try to steady her, but didn't act on it. He still didn't know just how strong this spell made him and didn't want to risk hurting her even more. But, to his relief, Matt stepped in front of her on the stairs so that if she fell then he would be able to save her from toppling down the stairs. Despite the feeling of strength flowing through his muscles, his heart still beat rapidly at the idea of seeing the monster that had killed all those poor children. Judging by the drawings, this guy wouldn't be pretty. Once they had dropped down to the stair landing of the children's ward, he peered through the one of the glass windows in the door to see the demon crossing the hallway towards another child's room. "He's out there," He said, glancing back at the others, "We need to act quickly. It looks like he is making his way to another kid."
Allison: A wave of dizziness coursed through Allison as she reached the landing, sweat dotting her brow from the small exertion that had been required. But her current state was pushed out of her mind as she heard Stiles speak, stomach dropping unpleasantly as he relayed what he saw. Her hands immediately motioned towards the bag on Matt’s shoulder, knives gathered in one hand. “We each need to grab a crystal then. Bonnie said we had to place them around this thing in order to trap it, so keep that in mi -- ” Allison was cut off by the sound of a high pitched scream, one that was cut off after a short moment. It was enough to raise the hair on her arms, and she didn’t give their plan a second thought before she’d torn the door open, racing towards the source of the sound. The sight of the monster alone was enough to make Allison pale, it’s eyes extended in a way that was decidedly not human. She watched in horror as it attached itself to the child beneath it, and that was enough to shake Allison from her stupor. “Hey!” She yelled, catching its attention. As it turned, Allison found herself gripping her knife a bit tighter in her hand as she raised it, aimed, and threw the dagger towards one of the eye stalks. A sickening sound filled the room as it made contact, the beast releasing a noise of outrage as it grasped at what remained of its eye. It was a miracle that Allison didn’t vomit all over the hospital floor. She might have if it weren’t for the way the creature turned on her, enraged.
Matt: Matt was glad to see that Allison was safely downstairs. He knew it was for a good cause, but he was still a little worried. Not that he had much time to worry about it. The monster was clearly on his way to it's next victim and if they wanted to do something about it, they had to act now. He nodded while Allison grabbed a crystal and gave one of them to Stiles. Before they could finish their plan, they heard a loud scream. Right after Allison, Matt rushed through the door and took a deep breath, waiting for Allison to lure it away from the child. As soon as it was far away, he posted himself between the bed of the child and the monster. It allowed him to have a first look at it and for a moment he felt his stomach turning around. The drawings the children had made had been kind, even nice, towards this thing that you barely could call human. He placed the crystal on the floor and tried to push the fear away. There was not time to be afraid, no time to vomit, no time to get over the horror that was called a face. As soon as Allison threw the knife, Matt didn't hesitate and threw himself on the monster. He tried not to think about what he was doing. He tried not to think about his arms wrapped around that thing. He tried not to think about what the monster could do to him. He just grabbed it and used his weight and his strength to push it to the floor. "Stiles! I need help!" He yelled, feeling how the monster was fighting back, was trying to find a way to get to him. He had no idea what it was doing exactly, but he preferred not finding that out.
Stiles: Once the crystal was in his hand, he wrapped his fingers around it to make sure that he didn't drop it. That would honestly be his luck would to be to drop the thing and lose it. He hoped for the kid's sake that his luck wouldn't be what it typically was. He didn't have time to really think before he heard the scream and they all reacted. He hurried after Allison and Matt in the room and shuddered at the sight of the monster. There was a brief pause from him as he took in what the thing looked like, feeling slightly squeamish as he did so even more so with the unpleasant sound of Allison's knife making contact with it's eye socket. The call from Matt, however, quickly broke him of his slight daze and he rushed over to them. He set his crystal down near to the one that Matt had put on the ground. As he saw Matt laying on the ground with the monster struggling against him, he didn't really know what to do but quickly got an idea as he saw the glint of silver still plunged in it's eye. He pulled the knife out of the monster's eye socket and then quickly plunged it into it's back. At this motion, the monster quickly moved it's attention from Matt to himself and was soon trying to pin him to the ground. He pushed against the demon's chest using all of his might to push it away from him and looked over at Allison the best that he could. "We need that other crystal in place, Alley," He managed to get out.
Allison: There was a flurry of motion as the boys entered the room, making quick work of disabling the monster. Allison stopped paying them attention, focused on the way the child in the bed watched them all with eyes rounded in fear. Tears were steadily streaming down her face, trembling bottom lip a dead giveaway to the terror she must have felt. Allison approached her carefully, placing her other dagger on the bed before holding her hands up in a sign of peace. She tried to hide what was happening behind her with her body, focused on comforting the child. “Hey...it’s going to be okay, honey, I promise. Just do me a favor and close your eyes, alright? It can’t hurt you anymore, but keep your eyes shut.” The sound of Stiles calling her broke her concentration, and Allison had no choice but to hope the girl would listen to her. Spinning around, Allison found the monster pinned beneath Stiles and Matt, their combined strength a match for the demon. Moving quickly, Allison placed her crystal on the ground at an equal length from the others. Its effect was instantaneous, bolts of light leaping from the crystals to connect above the boys on the floor. Allison attempted to move closer to them, but her skin met the barrier with a sizzling sound, forcing a cry from her lips. “ I can’t get through! Just -- try to cut it’s throat, the dagger is still in its back.” She shouted, eyes darting between the bodies on the floor. Risking moving the crystal only to get in seemed foolish, especially when the space inside was already cramped. “ Try not to touch the barrier! ”
Matt: Matt bit his lips. His new found power was barely enough to hold the monster and much to his dislike it was still struggling and fighting, despite the barrier being completed by Allison. He didn't even dare to look at the barrier, his eyes were only looking at the knife in the back. He wasn't sure what to do, how to get it. They needed all the strength they had to keep the monster down. He took a deep breath and filled his lungs with as much air as possible. For a moment he looked at Stiles, before he looked back at himself. They both had the superpower thing, but he also had his natural strength. It wouldn't have been enough for this thing, but maybe the combination was enough to keep the monster down while Stiles would do the rest. He moaned when he felt his back hitting the barrier and cursed while focussing on keep his grip around the monster tightened. He tried to move himself a little again. The barrier causing him to scream, but he tried to ignore the pain. He had more important things to do if he wanted to survive this. He tried to place his entire weight on the monster as much as his could while tightening his grip. He wasn't sure if it was enough, if it would hold for long, but it was their only shot. "I've got it, Stiles." He nodded and focussed on all the muscles in his body. "Grab the knife and kill it!"
Stiles: He wished that he could breathe a sigh of relief on the part that the monster was now trapped within the barrier. But, that only meant that he was stuck in the small space in the midst of something that could kill him. He silently thanked Lydia and Bonnie for thinking of giving them strength that could rival this thing. There was no way that their simple human strength could even bother this thing. It was obvious, however, that one of them would have to kill the thing while the other held it down. He was honestly doubtful in his own ability to hold it down on his own. He, after all, wasn't known for any sort of strength without his power and couldn't contribute some of his own strength to the effort. He was, needless to say, sort of relieved that Matt had taken the charge on trying to hold the demon down. Although... he had to admit that he wasn't entirely thrilled about slitting its throat. He knew it had to be done despite his reserve against it and acted as quickly as he could. Stiles pulled the knife that he had previously stuck in its back out and quickly brought it to its throat making one clear cut across. Shuddering from his effort and own shock at performing such an act, he scrambled as far away from the monster as he could within the barrier and sat there for a few moments taking deep breaths of shock.
Allison: An anxious feeling crept over Allison as she watched the flurry of limbs from where she stood, forced to watch instead of help. Her fingers curled uselessly into fists, and it was with great effort that she kept herself from beating against the barrier that kept her back. She saw the way its claws flashed in the light of the room, menacing and deadly. If it managed to get a hold of either Stiles or Matt, she feared the worst. But it seemed that her fear was wasted as she watched the pair work in rapid succession, ending with the way Stiles moved the knife almost gracefully across the demon’s throat. A gurgling sound filled the room as the creature began to choke, smoke leaking from its throat in place of blood. It took a few moments before it finally ceased all movement, eventually turning to dust on the floor. Allison’s chest rose and fell with heavy breaths, eyes still glued to the area where the demon had once lay. Moving slowly, Allison approached the crystal she’d set down and lifted it with nimble fingers. The barrier disappeared almost instantaneously, and Allison placed the crystal on the bed beside her. Mindlessly, she found herself repeating what she’d told the girl earlier. “ It’s alright...it’s over.”
Matt: Matt closed his eyes. He didn't wanna see what was gonna happen now. He didn't wanna see if they'd succeed or not. He didn't wanna see if he would die or not. It seemed to take ages, but all of a sudden her heard a gurgling sound. He tightened his grip, like he could still do that, and hoped for the best. The next moment he was on the floor, his arms surrounding nothing anymore, his stomach pressed a just a little bit of dust, the only thing that was left of the demon that had scared everyone. He needed some time before he dared to relax, before he dared to sit up, before he dared to look around. Seeing how Allison was sitting on the bed, how the kid looked less terrified, how the room all of a sudden looked a lot bigger. They did it. He felt a careful smile spreading across his face. "We did it..." He said the words out loud and he threw his head in his neck. They did it. They really did it.

( sms from l.martin ) — That looks comforting. Don’t try to catch it until we know more about it, you need to stay in bed and stay away. I’ll take a look and update you once we find something, love you! x

( sms from l.martin ) — A premonition? Did you get a look at it? Bonnie and I have been looking around for some sort of answer, but it’ll be easier if we know what to look for.
( sms from a.argent ) --- I don’t know what to call it, really. I caught a glimpse of it in the dream, but as soon as I woke up, it started slipping away. The kids have been drawing pictures of it though, I don’t know how I didn’t notice it before. ( photo from a.argent ) ---

( sms from l.martin ) — I figured there might be. What happened? Are you okay?
( sms from a.argent ) --- I’m fine for now, but it’s not me I’m worried about. A kid died this morning, but I don’t think his fever is what killed him. I had this dream last night, but it didn’t feel like a normal dream. I saw that kid, and I saw something kill him before I woke up. I don’t think it was exactly some sort of fever induced hallucination.
