♕ - ; Percival takes to the day at hand quietly and walks off some post battle pains. There’s a bit of a limp in his walk but he otherwise manages to compose himself well off enough. The second he turns a corner once the crowds die down again, his follow is met by a brief burst of heat followed by the Lord of Flames himself stopping in his tracks as he sizes them up. 

“ This hasn’t been the first time I’ve been trailed nor will it sadly be the last. Now that we’re alone, how may I help you? “

Bloodhound knew an injured animal when they saw one.

It felt like a mistake for someone who clearly needed more medical attention to be wandering the streets on their own. What if they were suddenly attacked, what would they do then? Curse their curiosity, they couldn’t help but follow, in hopes of getting close enough to ask if they could help.

Too close, perhaps, as they suddenly feel heat similar to that of a thermite grenade flaring in front of them. They’re hardly affected though, due to their clothes. They tip their head in a simple greeting, then raise their hands in peace. Their raven, perched on their shoulder.

“Worry not, félagi (comrade). I come in peace. I simply noticed that you were injured, and wanted to see if you needed any help.”

It’s not the first time Threo’s quarry has escaped her, and it won’t be the last. It’s just so surprising that something so big as one of the Mistwood Denizens could be so dang tricky to catch. The thing was at least twelve feet tall and was covered in weird tentacles, so normally a thing like that would be super easy to spot, right? But the dang thing just… vanished. Someone mentioned the Denizens could do things like that, but Threo just hadn’t been listening closely.

Dropping to all fours, Threo begins to follow the sickly scent of the escaped Denizen. Luckily, the blade of her axe is coated in its blood, or whatever fluid that was that came out of it, so she wouldn’t lose the scent easily. She pays no mind to the terrain around her, crawling through bushes in pursuit of her prey, and clambering around trees and rocks. It isn’t until the scent trail leads her to someone’s boots that she finally looks up.

“Oops, sorry! Didn’t see you there!” she laughs. “Guess I was kinda distracted! I’m trying to hunt one of those weird monsters, but they’re really hard to catch!”

She rises to her feet, shouldering her axe and looking around the small clearing. “Say, you didn’t see a big monster around here, did you? It was all…” She lifts up her hands, wiggling her fingers. “Like that! I got it pretty good, so I think it’s trying to hide right now. But I’ll find it! Somehow…”

Walking long stretches of land was nothing new to Bloodhound, so perhaps it was because of this that with little surprise, they found themselves in the Mistwood. Of course, they had no idea that’s what it was called - all they knew was that they’d picked one direction and walked that way until they reached wilderness.

They felt far calmer here, more space to breathe, more opportunities to explore and see what the local flora and fauna was like. They dropped to all fours, feeling the ground below them with their hands as they send their raven Artur to scout ahead. They catch the scent of several creatures, which made sense in an area like this. But there’s something else coming....something approaching, and rather quick.

The loud warning caw of a raven brings Bloodhound to their feet, arm outstretching to receive Artur, who lands on their forearm, right as a small person clambers through the bushes, and their eyes widen behind their goggles at the large weapon she carries. The horns are odd, as is her stature, but the fact that she can so easily carry such a large axe with no problem shows her strength. They must be careful.

They don’t let their guard down even as she begins to speak in a rather lighthearted tone, looking down at her, a brow quirked, not that she could see it.

“I do not know what beasts you speak of, aðkomumaður (stranger).”

“Regardless, if you are an ally and come in peace, I would be more than happy to help you locate your quarry.”

Rumbling thunder and flashes of light in the clouds really only meant one thing.

Bloodhound could smell it in the air, feel it in the wind - a storm was coming, here in the wilderness of the Cotes Ward. The hunter had wandered from civilization and out towards the edges of the ward, and it was here where the weather had changed. They looked out to the building storm clouds, and smiled under their mask.

They reminded them of one of the other legends - Natalie, or Wattson, as everyone knew her. She was truly one of the lights of the games, and Bloodhound always found themselves at ease whenever she was near. She knew how to liven up a room with her jokes, which Bloodhound always managed to chuckle at.

How long would they find themselves here, they wondered. How long would it be before they saw any of their friends or comrades again? So far they had only seen Octane, and heard of Mirage being around. It was odd to have one legend here, but multiple...was certainly suspicious.

A sound from behind them causes them to whirl around, a hand reaching up to  activate the sonar on their goggles, their eyes widening as they see a warm figure ahead of them - a person. Behind them, a large horned creature was sneaking up.

“Watch out--!” They call out, surging forward with a loud growl, their head thrown back as a mysterious power surges through them. They take off with great speed, running on all fours towards the demon before diving into a roll and firing off a series of shots with their bb gun. It wasn’t much, but it managed to scare the creature off at least.

Breathing heavy, and with their goggles still glowing red, they turn around to look at the figure - familiar and coincidential.

“Are you safe, Natalie?”

'Body hygiene’ How often does your muse clean themselves? How important is body hygiene to them? Are they easily disturbed by other’s lack of such?

Often, at least once a day, post Apex Games. They don’t mind being dirty from match to match, as it helps to keep them hidden and blend in. It is fairly important to them, as it’s part of their health, but they’re not really bothered by what other people do or don’t do with their own bodies.

'Cover your mouth’ Do they cover their mouth when they yawn, burp or sneeze? Will they apologize in case they don’t or can’t? Are they appalled if others don’t?

Their mouth is mostly always covered by their respirator, so this really isn’t a problem for them. Again, they’re not really bothered by what other people do or don’t do. Not their problem.

Bloodhound is very grateful, not only to all the blessings their gods have bestowed upon them, but very grateful to the many friends and comrades they have around them. They have no problem with verbal shows of gratitude, and do it often, but they also show gratitude in different ways, such as small gifts, or protecting someone in battle. Even the rudest of people (cough cough Revenant cough) get thanked. It’s best to stay on everyone’s good or neutral side.

‘You’re welcome’ Does your muse do others favors? Do they expect something in return if they do, or do they just like to help? Are there some hidden motives, and are they even aware of it?

Bloodhound is happy to help others, without expecting anything in return. However, it does have a benefit to them, which is to show others that they are not some scary monster, that they are a person they can trust. Of course, that’s definitely a motive that Bloodhound isn’t aware of, but they like to gather allies.

Which should be saved – a bus full of innocent lives or a loved one?

“A difficult question. I would say it depends on the circumstances but well, that is not the answer you seek. If they were any loved one of mine, they would understand why I would save many innocent lives over their own. My own suffering is nothing compared to that of multiple others.”

Imagine there is a beast that craves attention. If you ignore it, despite being deadly, it will leave you alone. Could you live like that? Even if it possibly attacked others? Would you try and challenge something that unknown?    

“I would not ignore this beast...my curiosity would make me give in. I would want to see it...if approached correctly, it should not attack. If it attacks, I would have no problem taking it down. I welcome the beast’s challenge.”

Are there people in this world you simply think the world would be better without? If you could erase them out of existence without physically murdering them, would you? 

“Such an act is not something any mere person should have control over. That is the act of a god, and I am no god.”

Are there people in this world who, no matter how much time and penitence is given, should never be forgiven?

“Certainly so. Some crimes are unforgivable. Certain andskoti (bastards) know what they have done, and know that they do not deserve to be forgiven. At least, one would hope so.”

It is a personal choice, if you forgive someone who has wronged you considerably. But they will never be forgiven in the eyes of the gods.”
