tbh I think ogilvadi should happen because it would be so funny for javadi to crush after hot guy mateo and display an interest in the "aloof" and "mysterious" types only to find herself genuinely into the guy she's been trying to blow up with her mind for the past 12 hours

I wish depression were an emergency. I wish someone could take one look at how sick I am and go “oh my god, we need to get you to a hospital!” and then when we get there I get rushed into surgery and the surgeons say “it’s a good thing you brought her here when you did, this is a seriously advanced case” and then they put me under and spend the next ten hours pulling metres of long, sticky black strands of gunk out of my body, throwing it immediately into an incinerator so that it can’t infect anyone else. And then they could stitch me back up and I could rest a few days, and when I leave the hospital everyone can see how much better I am and they congratulate me saying “well done, you’ve been so brave, I’m so glad you’re ok. I love you.”

Javadi catches something Ogilvie misses in a patient that prevents things from getting worse but gives him the credit so he owes her, then she cashes in the favor when Santos cancels acting as a patient for one of her TikToks and makes Ogilvie pretend to be a patient instead— also it goes viral for all the wrong reasons 👍

WHAT ABOUT OGILVIE?

I love both Santos and langdon. Infact i think both of them are right. But if y'all can handle complex characters why cant you handle Ogilvie. Idc if hes annoying, hes complex.

Truly he's just a kid trying to be the best doctor he can. Also he very clearly likes honesty even when the thing being told is hard for him to grasp.

We saw this in the last ep. Yes, he didn't understand the drugs and immediately went to judgment but you can see him changing when he realizes his mistake. Its obvious he wasn't taught basic social skills but is happy to learn.

there's no way people expect ogilvie, the most obviously autistic-coded character i have personally ever seen, to catch the brief side glances being thrown at him and take that to mean "oh, what i'm doing/saying is wrong and i should stop". like, first of all, it's a teaching hospital, why is no one actually teaching him?? (except my queen cassie mckay of course) second of all, he responds well to and absorbs constructive criticism! he wants to know how he can be better! people just need to be straightforward and honest with him. literally all he needs is someone to tell him when he's being rude/insensitive/ignorant (again, shoutout cassie mckay) and he will take that criticism to heart and try to improve himself. the writers had to put mel through the horrors this season and keep her away from ogilvie because they knew that if he was spoken to by someone who understands neurodivergent communication styles he would improve too quickly and his arc would be over </3
