What if Fred and George were separated at birth?
- one was raised by muggles but then they both get their Hogwarts letters and end up meeting at school
- and so one of them is actually super timid because they haven’t been influenced by the other
- and they get stuck having detention together
- but then it turns into this weekly ritual to see who can get the teacher to flip out first
- and we get a Parent Trap worthy story of them hating/pranking each other
- and then hating/pranking everyone else
- and they figuring everything out
- and they want to find out why the heck they were separated
- so they cut their hair to look the same and they practice each other’s accents and practice switching in their classes and drive people mad
- so that they can switch places during summer break
-and one of them has to teach the magic one how to live with muggles
- like how to use a microwave
- or what the purpose of a magazine is
- and the other spends the time instructing him how to be obnoxious enough that Molly won’t suspect
-just AHHH it would be so beautiful.
- and while they are switched, they send owls with updates as they investigate
- and people are starting to get suspicious
- Molly and Arthur couldn’t keep both twins because there was a prophecy that one twin would die for the other and they just couldn’t handle that possibility.
