               “  I did a lot of different sports growing up, & surfing requires a lot of strength in both the upper & lower body.  ”

     She smiled a bit shyly at the compliment, heat spreading through her face. Of course, the second half of that compliment thew her through a loop–causing her to let out an awkward laugh, stumbling a bit over her words.

               “  W-what ?  A–a GODDESS ?  Me ?  Oh, come on, Poseida–that would a bit far-fetched, don’t you think ?  ”

               “  Careful now, fuzzball. I have a six-year-old sister–I never back down from a challenge.  ”

     A small smirk of her own spread onto her lips, hands placing themselves onto her hips as she eyed the Lombax. They were both seated on surfboards, side by side, after some attempts of teaching Ratchet how to surf. Now they were taking a break, & Nani had threatened to shove him off his board if he didn’t stop acting so COCKY ( given how many times he’d fallen off in the barrel ).

     After a moment of them SMIRKING at one another, Nani’s grew mischievous–& then she shoved him right off his board & into the water.

               “  Oops. ~  ”
