@ohhoneysims
Just pics of Beth and Alistair being dorks.
Some pics of one of the apartment buildings. It is more of a shared house as the kitchens and bathrooms are communal. On the third floor of the building I decided to add a small kitchen area as I felt like one kitchen wouldn’t have been enough to handle three levels worth of people living there.
The art studio, the record store, the makeshift performance space, and the cafe
The curio shop and the club that is above it. A floor level in between the two is the apartment of the owner of the curio shop.
I’ve always been interested in doing a city build, and the idea to do this one came out of randomness and boredom. This soon developed into one of my biggest achievements in terms of building in this game. Sorry if it sucks to you, but I was pleased when I finally finished this. And it made me further find my style when it comes to building. Now all my builds are huge, because I can’t imagine doing something small. I love the challenge of all the details. This build comes with:
two apartment buildings
a two story penthouse
a gym
a generic restaurant
a Japanese restaurant
a community garden
a gardening shop
two cafes
a music store
a four story clothing store (think H&M)
a bar
a club
an art studio
a fortune telling/curio shop
a two story apartment behind the curio shop
a design studio
a photo studio
a boarding house for vampires and humans
a grocery store
a record shop
a small performance area behind the record shop
Yeah, I think this build might have taken me 2-3 months. Not sure, because I just kept working on it for so long that I lost track haha. I decided to name this city after some famous city names all mashed together, New Franlandia. It’s really dumb, I know.
Some photos of the students of Von Win Academy. Also a section of the girl’s dorm I missed posting about last time.
Here’s more of the girl’s level in the dormitory and the kitchen, dining area and shared studying area.
This is Mathieu Kingsley. He’s an artist going to the Von Windenburg Academy on a scholarship for it. He’s serious, thoughtful, and very loyal. He’s also Beth’s boyfriend. They both love old horror movies and in turn started bonding over that when they first met.
This is Alistair Ogdin, one half of the Ogdin twins. He’s a writer and photographer. He’s a cynical yet cheery bastard who loves his sister deeply. She’s usually his model for shoots if he needs one.
Meet Beth Ogdin. A twin. Plant enthusiast. President of the gardening club at Von Windenburg Academy. Old horror movie buff. She’s probably one of the first characters I was really pleased with making. I really enjoyed everything about her. So here’s her part of the girl’s room in the dormitory.
Okay, these pictures suck. Haha but this is an older build of mine that’s supposed to be a school and a mixed gender dormitory. It was meant to be for an RP blog about the students who go to this school, Von Windenburg Academy (I know, very original haha) but I just wasn’t feeling it so I never continued. I think it’s probably my first big build so that’s why it’s kind of empty. Haha I didn’t know what to do with all the space like I do now. Funny, because now I feel like I never have enough space when I build.
Been working on a new build which is going to be a city called Whitebeach. This is the courtyard behind the shared home I made. It’s probably been one of my favorite things to ever build.
