The Among Us show was actually fire. Well, that's to be expected since it was created by Owen Dennis, but they took a memed-out, basically dead game and made it into an interesting TV series that actually cares about its characters and has a lot of emotional scenes and social commentary. It could have been a "LOL so quirky" type of show but they made it dramatic and heartfelt without getting too pretentious.
The characters are all well-done; from Yellow and Brown's sweet bond, to Red and Purple's messy history, to Lime being the crazy guy who no one believed until it was too late, it's all so great.
I think we know why Paramount sat on this....because they're basically MIRA Corporation
This show had ZERO fucking oversight it’s actually good
They’re all nonbinary
There’s an entire section of just among us VR
The animation for the imposter is noticeably better than the rest of the show
There’s a 12 Angry Men bit
Most of the crewmates hate capitalism
There’s completely unnecessary amounts of blood and sorta brutal deaths
The characters cuss and occasionally flip each other off
Absolutely dumb visual gags
There’s an entire half an episode where they get high on oxygen deprivation and hamster pile naked
During that same bit one of the crew mates is just played by a guy in an inflatable costume in front of a green screen
And all of it is just played completely fucking straight
What the fuck do you mean the Among us show that Owen Dennis (infinity train) directed was just shadow dropped on paramount+???
this is how the show went right

yeah i agree
So Sheriff Country
After rewinding the cliffhanger many times and rewatching the last four episodes back to back
Eva Santos
I think she does care about Mickey, she had a moment of silence after listening in on Mickey's and Wes's phone call, apologized for her behavior after learning about Skye, shot Alec when he took out a gun
(My dad's still on the fence about that, he thinks she doesn't act like she's Mickey's mom at all)
Anyway
Final scene
Eva Santos commends Mickey for CHOOSING HER JOB over someone SHE LOVES
that
THAT
I think Eva Santos as Maria was on the job
Had a child
Fell in love?
Choose to fake her death to continue doing her job?
Thought pretending to die would be easier for Mickey and Wes to accept than learning the whole relationship was fake?
Thought a dead mom was better than a "bad" mom?
Didn't care at all?
Because Mickey made the same decision, did Eva think it was okay to reveal herself, thinking Mickey would understand? She also arrested her own father and ex sister-in-law
I'm thinking back to the series premiere, but Mickey had to choose between Skye and being sheriff right?
That's a theme right?
Family vs Career?
Loyalty vs Justice?
I actually do think we should discourage women from becoming housewives. Do not become financially dependent on a man. That's how a lot of women ended up dead over the years. A man gets violent suddenly and you have to choose between homelessness or potentially dying at his hand because you have an enormous gap in your resume and no degrees or certifications or anything that will help you pursue a career that will allow you to be financially independent. He owns your bank account. His name is probably the one on the car. Try and leave and he can report it stolen. Where will you go then?
Don't become a housewife.
And if you do become a housewife, take steps to protect yourself. Make sure you’re legally married, for starters; stay-at-home girlfriends have very little legal recourse to claim their partner’s assets in a breakup. Make sure your name is on the house deed/rental agreement, and have your car in your name, even if your spouse is paying for it. Have your spouse transfer money every month into an account solely in your name, so you can buy yourself things without needing permission, but also so you can save up to leave if needed.
If your spouse fights you on any of this, then don’t quit your job. The tradwife to poverty pipeline is real, and so is financial abuse.
also, many women/people experience controlling behaviour and domestic violence from their partner for the first time during pregnancy. don’t risk thinking “he’s just stressed, it’ll get better when the baby comes” because it won’t. neither you and your child will ever be safe with that man. get out as early and safely as you can

watched "If You Come For the Queen" last night and honestly obsessed with the way High Potential builds up female community. From Morgan and Selena instant bond, to Daphne being the first person who clicked with Morgan, to Daphne being Ava's big sister and they clearly bonded bts, to Daphne and Dottie mentory/motherly dynamic. saw an opinion that Adam is kinda bland for a lead in this genre, which I kinda agree to disagree, cause he shines in duo with Morgan and that's the whole point and the slow burn is slow-burning just fine... but also maybe the true heart of the show is female friendships and motherly love and it's a great subversion of cop show trops if you ask me.
