Spring into Summer & Fall into Winter - challenge

A Sims 4 seasons challenge with very bad play on words. You get it? Spring, summer, fall & winter? Ahhh, never mind…

I am not aware of any challenges for seasons yet, so I decided to give it a try. The challenge is a 4 generation-legacy challenge, so short but not short, if you get what I mean 😉

The challenge wishes to explore the expansion pack, because there is a lot of new stuff! It also forces you to create some new holidays you can spend with your loved ones.

If you decide to give this a go, please use the hashtag #springtowinter.

There are some basic rules for the challenge:

You may start off generation 1 with §50.000 by using the money cheat (type money 50000 in the command), but no more cheats after this.

Lifespan must be set to normal, and season length must be set to 14 days (the normal is 7, so remember changing this)

A sim may only use an anti-aging potion ONE TIME in their lifetime, this includes the Potion of Youth and milking the cow plant.

If you don’t own a pack that dictates a trait, aspiration, career or goal, replace it with something you think will fit.

You do NOT have to complete the goals within a game-season - each generation represents a season, so you play in their lifetime.

When a child becomes a young adult, the next generation begins.

💐 Generation 1 - Spring:

Traits: Romantic, loves the outdoors & vegetarian 

Aspiration: Soulmate

Career: Gardener (Floral Designer-branch)

Spring has sprung, and the vegetables begins to sprout. As a romantic, you find this season to be the best. The flowers begin to bloom, bees are in the air, and the smell of rain. Ahh, you love it. The only thing missing, is someone to share it with. 

Goals (You MUST complete all to move on to the next generation):

Declare your love for rain (interaction in the friendly-category) 

Create a new holiday (in the calendar) named ‘Earth day’. It must take place in the spring. Traditions must be: Gardening, give flowers, and thankful spirit.

Create a new holiday (in the calendar) named ‘Egg-stravaganza’. It must take place in the spring. Traditions must be: Flower bunny, egg hunt, and baking.

Get a beebox and fill up the relationship bar with them

Get to level 10 in the flower arranging-skill

Complete all traditions in the Love Day-holiday

Complete all traditions in the Earth Day-holiday

Complete all traditions in the Egg-stravaganza-holiday

Complete the aspiration

☀️ Generation 2 - Summer:

Traits: Good, hot-headed (get it?) & perfectionist

Aspiration: The Curator

Career:  Secret agent (Diamond agent-branch)

Summer has always been your favorite season, because it seems like everything is perfect. And, as a completionist, you have always been obsessed with perfect things, and always want to collect everything, while doing something good for the world.

Goals (You MUST complete all to move on to the next generation):

The generation heir must, as a child, join the scouts (afterschool-activity), and collect all of the scout-badges (THIS MUST BE DONE AS A CHILD, SO PLEASE BE AWARE)

Declare your love for sunshine (interaction in the friendly-category) 

Create a new holiday (in the calendar) named ‘Be Proud’. It must take place in the summer. Traditions must be: Drinking, decorate, party spirit and romantic spirit. 

Create a new holiday (in the calendar) named ‘Summerfest’. It must take place in the summer. Traditions must be: Bar-B-Que, fire, water fun, and tell stories.

Create a new holiday (in the calendar) named ‘Day of the Dead’. It must take place in the summer. Traditions must be: Rembrance, grand meal, decorate, tell stories, and attend holiday ceremony.  

Get to level 10 in the herbalism-skill

Buy a money tree (Available in the rewards, and costs 5.000 points)

Complete all traditions in the Be Proud-holiday

Complete all traditions in the Summerfest-holiday

Complete all traditions in the Day of the Dead-holiday

Complete the aspiration

🍂 Generation 3 - Fall:

Traits: Genius, kleptomaniac & materialistic

Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy

Career:  Criminal (Boss-branch)

The temperatures are dropping, along with most peoples mood. Except yours. You love the dark hours and colors. To you, your parents were good. Too good. You do not see the good in the world, and neither in people. You have always wanted to cause mayhem and chaos. 

Goals (You MUST complete all to move on to the next generation):

Declare your love for wind (interaction in the friendly-category) 

Create a new holiday (in the calendar) named ‘Mischief Monday’. It must take place in the fall. Traditions must be: Mischief spirit, streaking, fighting and give gifts 

Create a new holiday (in the calendar) named ‘Spooky Day’. It must take place in the fall. Traditions must be: Spooky spirit, trick or treat, decorate, and wear costumes  

Buy the weather machine and fully upgrade it

Get to level 10 in the mischief-skill

Complete all traditions in the Harvest Day-holiday 

Complete all traditions in the Mischief Monday-holiday

Give birth until you get at least 1 girl - the last heir must be female.

⛄ Generation 4 - Winter:

Traits: Cheerful, foodie and family-oriented.  

Aspiration: Super parent

Career:  Social media-career (Internet Personality-branch)

Snow is falling, and as you look out the window you cannot help but wanting to share it with other people (on social media even). Winterfest has always been your favorite. The happy mood, the food, and spending time with the family makes you as happy as you can get. You know that your parents has not been the greatest of people, so you decide that you want to be that. The best parent in world even.

Goals (You MUST complete all to move on to the next generation):

Declare your love for snow (interaction in the friendly-category)

Create a new holiday (in the calendar) named ‘A Wintery Welcome’. It must take place in the winter. Traditions must be: Festive lighting, festive spirits, polar bear plunge, and fasting.    

Build 5 different snowpals (it is random, but there is 15 available, so it should be possible)

Only give birth once! - and that must be with father winter

Complete all traditions in the Winterfest-holiday

Complete all traditions in the New Year’s eve-holiday

Complete all traditions in the A Wintery Welcome-holiday

Complete the aspiration

Days of the Week Legacy

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and then we start again…

 Welcome to the Days of the Week Legacy.  The rules are quite simple.  Money cheats are allowed to buy a house and whatnot, but don’t go too crazy.  This is a challenge after all.  Also, set the lifespan to normal please.  You can temporarily set it to long or turn aging off for story purposes if you think it is necessary (but don’t go overboard).  Each generation has a required aspiration that you must complete.  There is a color scheme assigned to each generation.  This is optional and just for fun.  You don’t have to go crazy with this, it can just be something to keep in mind when choosing outfits, decorating interiors, etc.  I mean, you can go the whole nine yards and change hair color, eye color, etc. if you want.  Other than that, have fun!

Sunday – Gen 1

It’s a new beginning, the dawn of a new era.  You are a social sim and love being around people.  You moved to a new town for a fresh start.  You joined a local club and soon you had a core group of friends.  Eager to get a start on this new life, you ended up marrying the first person you started dating.  I mean, they were cute, and you liked them…at least you think you do.  You two had a baby and maybe another.  Then one day something changed.  You realized you had lost yourself, you had become a cog in the machine.  You left your partner and took your toddler with you.  You did a little of this, and a little of that until your now teenager convinced you that you needed a steady job, college was coming up soon after all.

Represented by bright & warm colors

Traits – loves the outdoors, insider, noncommittal

Aspiration – Leader of the pack

Must have at least 2 good friends (not spouse or children)

Marry the first sim you date and have at least one child with them

When your child is a toddler, get a divorce and move out with your child.

You can date here and there after that, but you can never remarry.

Join the business career, but quit after your divorce

After the divorce, freelance to make money (gardening, painting, etc.)

Rejoin a career that best matches your sim’s skillset after your child is a teen

Monday – Gen 2

You grew up resenting you parent’s inability to stick with something or someone.  You vowed you would be different.  You want to be the best parent for your kid, so they don’t have to experience the same stress that you had growing up.  You married your high school sweetheart and vowed to stick with them “‘til death do you part”.  You had a household full of happy children.  You also vowed to complete what your parent couldn’t.  You joined the business career with the plan to reach the top.  You never had the biggest house, or the fanciest things, but you were all happy.

Represented by cool blues and purples

Traits – gloomy, perfectionist, good

Aspiration – Big Happy Family

Marry your high school sweetheart, cannot break up or divorce no matter what

Have at least 3 kids

Must complete the business career

Can’t live in a mansion, must have a modest house

Tuesday – Gen 3

You didn’t have a bad upbringing.  You had a loving family, a nice (but modest) house, and you didn’t want for anything.  But you always wanted more.  You strive to make as much money as you could, so you could have the nicest house on the block.  It was a real “keeping up with the Joneses” situation.  You also wanted to spread your love and wealth around, so after having a kid or two of your own, you decided to adopt.

Represented by yellows and greens

Traits – ambitious, materialistic, snob

Aspiration – fabulously wealthy

Must have at least 2 kids, 1 adopted

Can pick any non-create career aka not entertainer, painter, or writer

Must complete the career

Wednesday – Gen 4

You had always been the black sheep of the family.  Everyone else was into bright, fun colors and you preferred something a bit…darker.  They were so cheerful and bubbly, which you found to be so embarrassing.  They were into materialistic things, always wanted to own the best and be the best.  You liked to stop and smell the roses, be creative, be one with the world around you. As soon as you could, you left your family behind and chose a different path.

Represented by blacks and grays

Traits – self-assured, hot headed, loner

Aspiration – bestselling author

Move out either right before or immediately after becoming a YA

Do not join a career

Earn your money through gardening, painting, book writing, etc.  The name of the game is to be creative.

Must master writing skill, painting skill, and at least 1 instrument

Must move from where you grew up to a different world

Thursday – Gen 5

You had a not-so-typical upbringing, by your not-so-typical parent.  They loved being creative and passed that love on to you.  You family had a long history of indecisiveness and you guess you inherited that too.  You liked trying new things and couldn’t stick with one for too long.  You had numerous different jobs, leaving each one before you got too far in it.  You even had trouble settling on a partner.

Represented by bright, fun colors

Traits – music lover, art lover, book lover

Aspiration – renaissance sim

Try painter career, entertainer career, and writer career – at least level 3 in each

Must marry twice to two different people (once as a YA and once as an elder)

Must have at least 1 kid

Friday – Gen 6

You never had a stable home life.  Your parent never stuck with one person for too long.  They were too enthralled in their own life to pay attention to you, leaving you feeling very neglected.  You rebelled, and turned into quite the party animal, skipping school at every opportunity and saying yes to every party invitation.  To say you dated around is an understatement.  You looked for love in all the wrong places.  You were jealous of those who had a seemingly perfect and stable family.  However, you started a family of your own, you were dedicated to them, giving them your everything.  You vowed not to make the same mistakes as your parent and to never let them feel the same way you did.

Represented by reds and pinks

Traits – jealous, family oriented, dance machine

Aspiration – serial romantic

Skip school at every invite

Accept all party requests as a teen & YA or until you have your first child

Must have at least 2 kids with 2 different people (at least 1 kid with each person)

Kids must have straight As in elementary school and high school

Saturday – Gen 7

You resent that you were so like your parent.  You struggled to hold a relationship for too long.  The one good quality you inherited was your devotion to your children.  You wanted the best for them.  You wanted the best for yourself.  You wanted to be as healthy and well-rounded as possible, so you could always be there for them.  You weren’t perfect, but you wanted them to think you were.

Traits – neat, active, creative

Aspiration – super parent

Must master handiness, and athletic

Have at least 2 failed relationships as a teen, can’t marry either of them later in life

Have a kid as a YA and marry the other parent of this child as an Adult

Escale Shirt for the Sims 4

Yay, patterns !

to be honest, even if I appreciate patterns, I don’t wear many in real life, and the clothes I create for the sims reflect that. It’s something I miss when I’m looking for a nice and original outfits for some of my sims. So I created this shirt !

It only have 25 colors options, it’s quite hard to find nice patterns to use on sims clothes. For some of them, I even used the wallpaper from the Caribbean update and the texture of a shirt from the Bowling Stuff Pack ! And If you want to create some recolors, I decided to include my PSD file (or you can use the texture from the white preset, if you prefer).

The Sims 4 Experiences Challenge

Are you sick of doing the same old thing every time you play the Sims? Do you find yourself falling into the same routine every time you play and inevitably getting bored of the gameplay? Are there expansion/game packs that you’ve bought, but never really played much because you struggled figuring out how to incorporate it into your gameplay? Or maybe, you’re like me, and just get super overwhelmed with all the options for things to do in the Sims, so you just end up doing what’s familiar and comfortable?

Say hello to the Sims 4 Experiences Challenge! I created this challenge specifically to get the most use out of every expansion/game pack in the Sims 4 (to date). I’ll keep adding on to it whenever a new one comes out. This Legacy-type challenge will focus on one major expansion, or several small ones, each generation and require your Sims to complete a variety of requirements to live out their lives very differently from their predecessors. The goal is that it will help you get out of your comfort zone and get you to experience the most out of your gameplay and what the Sims 4 has to offer. So, without further ado…

Rules:

Try to avoid using any cheats/mods that grant money or items, cheat needs, free upgrades/repairs, free Reward Store purchases, no bills, etc. Basically, if your Sim is supposed to work for it in game, they should do it the legit way. Cheats/Mods that just make the game function better or fix bugs/glitches are fine.

If your Sims move to a new lot/buy a new house, they must pay for that lot/house. If they can’t afford the house, cheat it, then remove all their money except $2500.

Lifespan must be set to Normal, Aging must be turned on (with the exception of storytelling stuff, as needed). MCCC is allowed (recommended honestly for story progression).

If you don’t own an expansion, skip that generation. Otherwise, play through the generations in order.

For every generation, you must complete the Aspiration and reach the top of the Career track, unless otherwise stated.

Each generation must have at least one child to be the heir for the next gen. You can choose any of your Sim’s children as the heir. The other children kinda sorta don’t matter (except in the Parenthood generation). Do whatever you want with them. Same goes with spouses.

Like the infamous Not So Berry Challenge (which loosely inspired me to make this challenge), your Sims have to fit a certain color theme for each generation, and also a specific clothing style. It’s not 100% necessary, obviously, but it provides interesting goals in CAS and will encourage you to try out items you might not have used before. Plus, it adds a nice touch of cohesiveness to their story. :)

Generation One : Base Game : Yellow

You couldn’t wait to move out and get as far away from your podunk little hometown as soon as possible. Right when you turned 18, you worked up the nerve and finally did it, packing your things and taking the first step toward independence and fulfilling your dream of becoming a rock star! Unfortunately, you definitely burned some bridges along the way, and now…  your family won’t even speak to you. At least you worked your butt off and managed to save up a nice chunk of change to make the move possible, but after buying your first bit of property… there’s not much left. Now you’re in a new, unfamiliar world with no money, no family, no friends, and no idea what to do next. Can you make it on your own and build yourself up from nothing, or will you get desperate and turn to a life of crime to make ends meet?

Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy Career: Criminal (Boss Branch) Traits: Materialistic, Kleptomaniac, Creative Appearance: Homeless/Basic. Started from the  bottom, now you’re here. You literally moved out from home, barely legal,  with nothing but a couple of bucks in your pocket and a head full of dreams.  Decent clothes aren’t really in the budget.

Requirements:

Buy an empty lot, set money to $2,000, use as much of it as possible to get the basics (choose wisely!), then set money down to $0

Cannot get a job until at least $2,500 on hand

Max the Mischief, Handiness, and [any Instrument] skills

Earn >$500 from song royalties as you try to make your way

Eventually give up your dreams of stardom & join the Criminal career

Must steal 5 pieces of furniture worth at least $500 each to prove yourself to the mob boss

Have 3 Enemies and an “It’s Very Complicated” relationship

Have an “Enemies with Benefits” relationship, and eventually marry them

Cannot move-in partner/get married until at least Level 5 in career track

The Garden: A Legacy Challenge Version 2

Hi guys, and welcome to my first ever Legacy Challenge! I spent an hour or so writing this up quickly because I was feeling creative! I hope this challenge might seem fun to some of you, fun enough to pick it up and play it! Please tag me if you’re starting it, and use the tag #garden legacy if you post pics! So, without further delay, here we go!

The Garden Legacy Challenge is a challenge carried out across 10 generations of your Sims family of choice. This introduction to the challenge can only be used as a guideline if you wish, as I’d love for you to express your creativity by using this as a template. Please, sit back, relax and enjoy playing the game! :)

Rules:

Money Cheats are NOT allowed

Aesthetic CC and poses are FINE

Needs must be on decay AT ALL TIMES

Feel free to pause ageing ONLY FOR STORY PURPOSES

Your Sims must live on the SAME LOT for the whole 10 generations. A larger lot is recommended

Any world is fine

You may edit what your Sims look like in CAS if they fugly

Information:

Your entire 10 generations will be named after various plants you could find or have in your garden. This is inspired by the fact that your Sims will have a love for nature throughout all 10 generations, living their life on the family farm. Each generation also has a berry colour in case berry simmers would like to enjoy the challenge too!

Generation 1: ROSE

Traits: Ambitious, Loves the Outdoors, Vegetarian

Aspiration: Freelance Botanist

Berry Colour: Red

Information: This is the founder of your legacy! From living their entire childhood in the smelly and loud city, they have decided to begin a new lifestyle in the countryside. They dream of running a farm to support the generations to come.

Rules:

Compete the Aspiration

Have at least 2 children

Have 1 dog and 1 cat

Collect every base game plant

Reach level 10 of the Gardening career

Care for at least 2 cowplants throughout your life

Max out the friendship level with at least one bee hive

Reach level 10 of the gardening skill

Reach at least level 5 in: cooking, parenting and handiness

Generation 2: DAISY

Traits: Outgoing, Good, Self Assured

Aspiration: Friend of the World

Berry Colour: White with Yellow accents

Information: You grew up in a loving household, making you a friendly and nurturing Sim who wants nothing else than to help others.

Rules:

Complete the Aspiration

Reach at least level 7 in the politics career. Either Branch. Cause: Speak for the Trees

Marry your first friend

Have 4 children

Reach level 10 charisma

Reach level 10 gardening

Go out at least 3 times a week with friends

Generation 3: BLUEBELL

Traits: Family Oriented, Romantic, Neat

Aspiration: Big Happy Family

Berry Colour: Blue

Information: You grew up surrounded by siblings. It was the best childhood you could have imagined. You want to bless your children with that same childhood!

Rules:

Complete the Aspiration

Reach level 10 parenting

Maintain perfect friendship levels with your siblings

Fill your household with children (you can have at least 1 pet)

Reach level 5 in 2 different jobs

Achieve the best love-days every year

Take the kids out on a day trip every Saturday

Traits: Self Assured, Goofball, Childish

Aspiration: Joke Star

Berry Colour: Yellow

Information: You were always the class clown, getting in trouble all the time. You pulled endless amounts of pranks on your siblings and parents. You never want to grow up.

Rules:

Complete the Aspiration

Reach level 10 in the Entertainment Career: Comedian Branch

Reach level 10 comdey

Reach at least level 7: charisma and mischief

Run a club called the Pranksters

Use a Voodoo Doll on your spouse at least 10 times

Marry a musician

Generation 5: Magnolia

Traits: Music Lover, Loner, Clumsy

Aspiration: Musical Genius

Berry Colour: White with Baby Pink accents

Information: Your parents were born entertainers, they lived to be on the stage. you share their talents but you are very shy and reserved. However, you still dream of being a well known and respected musician.

Rules:

Complete the Aspiration

Reach level 10 in the Entertainment Career: Musician Branch

Reach level 10: piano and singing

Reach level 7: guitar and violin

Have only 1 friend outside of your family

Marry that friend

Have 2 children: Twins (you can use cheats for this)

Generation 6: PINE

Traits: Jealous, Non Committal, Gloomy

Aspiration: Renaissance Sim

Berry Colour: Green

Information: You always felt like your were second best to your twin (whether this is true or not is up to you). You often spent time burring your head in books, learning lots of different things, but never mastering them.

Paint 1 Masterpiece

Write a Song

Change jobs once you get to level 4

Have at least 3 jobs

You never retire

You never marry

You have 3 different children from one night stands

A relationship is allowed after the children are born

Generation 7: TULIP

Traits: Lazy, Squeamish, Slob

Aspiration: Computer Whiz

Berry Colour: Grape Purple

Throw a party every weekend + every holiday

The generation (and challenge!) finished once you have completed the rules to generation 10! It’s up to you if you continue by moving your Sim to San Myshuno or stop there! Gay Pride TShirts!

Now if you had any doubts before let me clarify now, I am gay as f*ck. I would wear all of these shirts in the black color option in reality. Soooooo here they are for you sims. These shirts do work for female sims. You just need to enable the masculine fashion choice filter.

Previews of all of the designs and color options bellow the cut. There are two packages in the download folder. The previews bellow the cut are labeled with the corresponding package name. There is no “All in one” option as there are only two sets so far. I will more than likely be making more pride shirts in the future.

The designs are inspired by shirts I found on Zazzle but have all been created from scratch using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Band Shirts I Love

I managed to finish that project I posted some previews of on my older computer and here it is! The selection of bands are simply bands I like. Some of the shirts have designs on the back most don’t.

Credit for the logos and designs go to the individual bands and their designers All I did was turn them into sims 4 shirts.
